Aqua Meia Praia Hotel

Room very basic, no air conditioning, room safe only for rent, unventilated bathroom stank of drains or backed-up sewage or both. Room key opened every other room so presumably this worked vice versa. Management totally uninterested in this information. Food adequate at best. Pool very good.

This was a lovely Hotel with everything we needed, the decor was amazing but simple, i would definately go back. The location was also ideal as it was right near the beach. Unfortunately there was no air con in the rooms but the heat was not that bad so we coped,also it would of been nice if we had a mini bar or fridge in our room to store our waters. The view from our balcony was amazing as it was the sea front. The only down fall was that some of the staff wernt very helpful,and could be rude,but apart from that it was a lovely quiet hotel that really made my holiday.

A great holiday hotel (if a little run down) 1 hour by car from Faro airport; superb setting by enormous sandy beach, pools and tennis courts, nearby golf. Almost empty at end of March when Algarve covered by spring flowers.

Made to feel welcome. Breafast Very Good. Premises very clean and room spacious. Evening meal very reasonably priced and plain food oposed to a la carte. Meia Praia railway station only a stones through away from Hotel should anyone arrive by train on the Faro-Tunes-Lagos line as I did.
