"DO NOT eat in the restaurant. It was the worst meal we have ever had. The only flavour was salt & it was incredibily over priced compared to other restaurants in the area. 3 times more expensive than any where else.
The hotel is closing end of October, maybe this is why most of the staff were rude and uncaring, presumably recommendations are not required. A few staff were quite charming.
Don't expect too much & you won't be disappointed.

"Room very basic, no air conditioning, room safe only for rent, unventilated bathroom stank of drains or backed-up sewage or both. Room key opened every other room so presumably this worked vice versa. Management totally uninterested in this information. Food adequate at best. Pool very good." - Tom Byrne
"This was a lovely Hotel with everything we needed, the decor was amazing but simple, i would definately go back. The location was also ideal as it was right near the beach. Unfortunately there was no air con in the rooms but the heat was not that bad so we coped,also it would of been nice if we had a mini bar or fridge in our room to store our waters. The view from our balcony was amazing as it was the sea front. The only down fall was that some of the staff wernt very helpful,and could be rude,but apart from that it was a lovely quiet hotel that really made my holiday." - neeme hussain
"A great holiday hotel (if a little run down) 1 hour by car from Faro airport; superb setting by enormous sandy beach, pools and tennis courts, nearby golf. Almost empty at end of March when Algarve covered by spring flowers." - Philip Talmage
