Aquabella Hotel Aix En Provence

A really enjoyable stay at this well located hotel. The facilities make the experience and take it from a good hotel to a great hotel.

The spa was closed for renovation. Only do breakfast if included in price. Reasonable parking rates but you will need to use and pay for parking if you have a car. Went in low season for pleasure and to look for place to buy in France for our future so this package we got at aquanella thru kayak and hotelclub served us well. Truly deserved it's three star rating as compared to some hotels with four stars.

In room iron and ironing board would be very useful

Nice hotel in a good location with plenty of facilities but doe not have a lot of ambience like some of the older more provencal hotels

Excellent hotel in an ideal location no more than 10 mins walk from any part of Aix inside the ring-road. Fine restaurant and pool facilities. A tower from the 14th-century walls of the old city form a nice backdrop to the pool area, and guests have some limited use of the adjacent spa facilities which feature mineral waters from the local springs - the reason the Romans founded this town in the first place. Service is efficient and largely friendly. Other reviews on other sites complain about some of the rooms, but ours was very acceptable. The pool is directly adjacent to the ring-road, so there is some traffic noise, it depends on how sensitive you are, I suppose. I would reccomend this hotel, the 3-star rating should probably be a 4, in my opinion, so the rate is probably about right.

Well located, well priced. The room was actualy nicer than we expected. And the breakfasts (included in our rate) were quite substantial.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, great location.

I was satisfied with Aquabella Hotel, because it's in a heart of the city, and their facilities are very organaized.(swimming pool, restaurant, bar etc.) However, I was very disappointed because during weekend sauna didn't work. They didn't tell us the reasy why so I don't know if it was weekend or it was broken... but anyway I highly recommend to stay in this hotel if you will stay in Aix-en-provance.

I do not know many of the other choices in Aix but this definately would be my choice next time too! Parking is not a problem but it is rather expensive and the nearest garage is not ment for large cars. I drove Opel Meriva and managed ok.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel which is excellent value for the facilities it offers being adjacent to the Spa. The sunday brunch was enjoyable and a good spread. One small addition for the price that would be nice would be some body lotion as well as shampoo and soap especially as it is very likely one has been taking some sun round the spa pool.

I have stayed at many different hotels in Aix, but this is probably the best. In a town that has too many run-down hotels, this is one of the few modern and attractive hotels on offer at a reasonable price. Warmly recommended.

Overall pretty good. The breakfast was excellant and the swimming pool was a wonderful place to relax. The location of the hotel is very good for the town centre and restaurants etc. Let down slightly because of a problem with the key to the door which was never properly resolved. However we would use the hotel again if we return to Aix in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of facilities at this hotel considering it is only rated as a 3 star. The swimming pool was excellent (if a little cold) and the hotel's location within Aix couldn't be bettered for a decent size hotel. I would certainly re-visit if I was in that part of France again.

Priced as a 3 star but facilities you find in a 4 star. Very good value

Very good location - quick walk through Old Town to main shopping area. Amazing fitness centre attached to hotel with spa and swimming pool, beside an old roman wall! Fabulous town - non touristy and easy to get about. Would recommend and hope to return.

New building, nice spa/pool. Close to centre of town. No/very little parking. Will go again
