"Excellent hotel in an ideal location no more than 10 mins walk from any part of Aix inside the ring-road. Fine restaurant and pool facilities. A tower from the 14th-century walls of the old city form a nice backdrop to the pool area, and guests have some limited use of the adjacent spa facilities which feature mineral waters from the local springs - the reason the Romans founded this town in the first place. Service is efficient and largely friendly. Other reviews on other sites complain about some of the rooms, but ours was very acceptable. The pool is directly adjacent to the ring-road, so there is some traffic noise, it depends on how sensitive you are, I suppose. I would reccomend this hotel, the 3-star rating should probably be a 4, in my opinion, so the rate is probably about right." - Michael Sheerin
