Aquarius On The Beach Townsville

Good for one night's accommodation, arriving a few minutes prior to reception closing. Overpriced perhaps due to some functions in Townsville. It has a pleasant view and was quiet but the street has the potential to be busy and possibly noisy.

Beautiful view, and close to all the shops on the strand.

Top position adjacent to beach, restaurants and the city, would definitely stay here again, best to ask for a room on the upper levels as you do get some street noise though. If you can afford it go for an upgraded room with modern fit out, rooms are all the same size though

We had a very nice short break over Easter. Hotel is in a great position with great ocean views.

Good position. Great view of Magnetic Island. Room well furnished. Good value for money.

Lovely location with views over The Strand and to Magnetic Island but rather noisy from very small balcony overlooking the road. Longish walk into CBD but nice stroll along The Strand compensates.

Found it quite good overall

The place is excellent, it seems the place built into the water as we have the best view to the ocean. Near to all the excellent restaurants and a good walk in the splanade and beautiful views. The only down part is the parking area, there should be a specific parking for every room as one night we went for a drive when we came back we have nowhere to park our car. Otherwise it was an excellent place to have a holiday.

The place was just perfect for my husband and I. It was a fantastic view from where we are and the price is reasonable. The service is good and the place is well kept.

Fairly ordinary hotal, one night was enough. Wouldn't stay here again.

Room was quiet and had a great view.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pull-out bed was broken and unusable but this was not discovered until late at night so we were reluctant to call up for help. The phone was not working on arrival but this was fixed. A mirror for the wall was standing in the wardrobe. The bathroom and wardrobes were in need of a coat of paint.

Excellent room and ideally located on The Strand

We had a lovely stay at Aquarius On The Beach Townsville. It is such a convenient location, beautifully clean and friendly staff.

Water went cold on the third shower; happy I paid the discount rate vs full price. Otherwise, very good.

The view across the water was brilliant. The room comfortable and pleasant. I would go back again. The people working there were friendly and helpful. An attractive lobby and garden. We enjoyed our stay very much with long walks along the Strand. Even though they didnt have a restaurant the local nearby cafes were excellent with great service and good quality food.

Staff were a bit grumpy! Swimming pool a bit overrated, but the room's facilities were quite good. Internet wasn't working when we were there.

Probably the best views and location in Townsville !

Room was fairly small for a so-called executive suite. Otherwise no complaints at all. The view was superb!
