Arai Ryokan is one of Shuzenji's most distinguished inns, founded in 1872 and recognized as a National Cultural Asset. It is located a short distance from Shuzenji temple, on the banks of the Katsura River.

5 minutes by taxi from Izukyu Shuzenji Station. 10 minutes on bus from Izukyu Shuzenji Station bound for Shuzenji Onsen. Get off at Shzenji Onsen and 5 minutes walk.
Check-in Procedure:
Check-in time is 15:00 hrs. The facility will make reasonable efforts to accommodate early arrivals before 11:00 hrs. Please be aware that a passport will be necessary for foreign travelers.
