NEW MODERN HOTEL opened in 2003 at the "Eixample" central district, walking distance to the main avenues of the city center and just two blocks from the Sagrada Família. Though metro and public transportation are easy accessible, only a 15 minutes pleasant walk separates the hotel from the famous Pg de Gràcia and Plaça Catalunya. The 84 rooms are spread along the wide 40 meters long chamfered corner and all of them have large windows with double glass. NATURAL LIGHT in most bedrooms and bathrooms is one of the remarkable features or the Apsis Aranea. For those guests preferring backside parts, the hotel also offers absolutely quiet rooms looking at a courtyard. Bedrooms are cozy thanks to the wooden floor and the soft modern decoration. All ROOMS ARE VERY WELL EQUIPPED with twin or queen size beds, minibar, a free safety box in the closet, a last generation interactive TV with international channels, pay-per-view movies and play station on request, and customized temperature (air conditioning and heating all the year). Complete private bathrooms are designed to be PLEASANT SPACES, as they are comfortable and plenty of amenities. From hairdryer to the widest range of toiletries (gel, shampoo, body milk, shaver...). Guests have free access to a 24 hours business center ("Espai Apsis") with sofas, computers for internet and newspapers. Other hotel services are a varied buffet breakfast, a bar opened in the evenings and a restaurant offering a lunch menu.

Getting there:FROM THE BARCELONA AIRPORT: The best way to arrive from the airport is by taxi: It takes around 25 minutes and the cost is about 25 euros. FROM THE GIRONA AIRPORT: Buses from Girona Airport stop just 200 meters from the hotel (at Passeig de Sant Joan) BY CAR: Consell de Cent crosses the city along downtown. Take it any point and drive to number 444 BY SUBWAY: You should stop at "Tetuan" station.

The only problem i had with the hotel was that the beds were very very hard, therefore i had no sleep the 2 nights i stayed there.
A pleasant hotel a little outside the main city centre attractions. But easily within walking distance of most.
The hotel was exellent but the breakfast could been better. Hot dishes were more cold than hot. Very limited space of wardrobe for two persons. Nice and quiet area just 20 min walk to Placa Catalunya.
Hello, the hotel was great, clean, close to the centre and a very helpfull staff. We will highly recomend it, and if we visit Barcelona again, will be happy to stay again.
Small rooms, had booked a tripple room, got a double with extra bed so it was very cramped. And the extra bed was very very short, much shorter than me!!

Unfortunately our room overlooked nothing but the vent shaft and two brick walls! That aside eveything else was as advertised and expected -good.
A pleasant stay in a well-situated hotel in central Barcelona. The room we had was comfortable. Reception staff were always friendly and helpful. I will return to this hotel should the opportunity arise.
Excellent Hotel, Ultra modern with lots of usefull facilities, a bit far from the centre of barcelona but a metro station is close by and only takes a few minutes to reach the centre via the metro. Staff are very helpful and friendly and speak english very well. Would stay in this hotel again
Excellent location, close to two metros and the beautiful Sagrada Familia. Quiet and safe area of Barcelona, good to be away from the noise and bustle of the tourist hot spots.
A nice clean modern hotel conveniently situated near the Sagrada Famiglia. We enjoyed our stay and liked the quiet neighbourhood and nearby restaurants.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean, bright, minimalistic chic. Very easy to get from hotel to main streets - about 20 minutes pleasant walk.
Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were a good size and more than adequate for a short break. The location was 3 minutes away from a Metro stop, 3 minutes from the Sagrada Familia, and 10 minutes from las Ramblas. All in all great hotel and would recommend it to everyone.
A lovely hotel, not in the centre of Barcelona but a great situation if you are not adverse to a short walk. Would reccommend this hotel and would definately stay there again without a doubt. Great value for money.
Good value hotel with excellent breakfast.Good location.Rooms compact but value for money.It says bar but doesnt really have hotel bar just extension of breakfast room and closed weekends and holiday period.Well worth the money.
We had a wonderful stay in this friendly hotel, thanks to the pleasant staff, who were always on hand to help if/when needed. The location is a little way out of the town centre, but, in a city that should be explored on foot, this should pose no problem to anyone.
A very well apointed Hotel nicely placed within the city. only three blocks away from the amazing Sagrada de familia cathedral and a short taxi - subway ride fromt the city centre. friendly staff and very clean, modern rooms.
