"The service was excellent and very kind. We stayed in the annex building just 10 meter from the main entrance. Clean and nice breakfast area, the breakfast was very continental. Good enough, but not to mention. We did not try the restaurant in the basement.
By walking, the hotel is situated about 18-20 minutes from the city walls of Siena.
We will stay there next time when we visit Siena.
By the way, we saved about 10% when booking with [Your website] compared to the next cheapest hotel agent.

Our room was very basic & bare(MFI style furniture/no mirror etc,although it did appear that other rooms had been renovated.

This romantic hotel is an enchanting country villa from the 1800s with garden, an internet point in the lobby, panoramic terrace, the wine bar and the new play area for Children.
Also the traditional restaurant is part of the hotel.
Here, the nineteenth-century Vecchio Pozzo (old well) that is built into the structure of Hotel Arcobaleno offers our guests a unique opportunity. The well, which was dug out of the villa's stone granaries, has been expertly converted to allow private business breakfast, romantic dinners and special meetings, all in a magical setting. The enviroment is dicreet, private and truly enjoyable. The old brick silo that was originally constructed to collect water has been converted into three rooms, each on a separate level and each with its own comfortable round table. These dining areas are accessible by a charming winding stairway that allows exploration of the entire depth of the well. Reservations are required for dinner in the well. During both summer and winter, the restaurant is open every day of the week except Sunday.
The Arcobaleno Hotel is situated outside Porta Camollia (Gate Camollia), about 30 minutes walking distance from the main square (Piazza del Campo)and 15 minutes from the railway station.
The hotel is also served with frequent bus service from / to all
directions (hotel bus stop PALAZZO DIAVOLI).

How to get to the Hotel Arcobaleno***
by car:
From North:
To get here from FLORENCE, take the A1 motorway (green sign, Italy's main north-south toll superhighway) south towards Roma, leaving it at the CERTOSA exit and taking the free highway towards Siena. Exit at SIENA NORD and continue, following CENTRO (CENTER) signs. The Hotel Arcobaleno is on the left just past the second traffic light.

To get here from Rome, take the A1 motorway north towards Milan, leaving it at VALDICHIANA exit and taking E78 highway towards Siena. then follow railway station signs and continue, following Arcobaleno signs.
