"The room was very small we hardly had enough space for our bags. If one was standing the other had to sit down. The shower was leaking and we had water every where. The toiletries were very bad and for the money we paid it was a rip off. The view was just appaling from our window. it is a place I am not going back to." - Anonymous

Leaving the airport, turn right at the first intersection (traffic lights), and follow signs to Sirkeci/Sahilyolu. You will come to a roundabout with a big fountain in the middle; turn left and follow the signs to Sirkeci.Drive straight along the seaside road for approximately 16 km(10 miles); turn left at the first sign for Sultanahmet. Go under the small iron railway bridge, then take the first right. Continuing to drive straight, slightly uphill all the way; you will see the Arasta Bazaar on your left, and later the Sultanahmet Mosque. When you approach the centre of Sultanahmet, you'll see the huge building of Hagia Sophia (St.Sophia) Museum.Take right from the traffic lights.On the left hand side you will see Basilica Cystern.Go straight approximately 100 m.We are on that street at the corner facing the Sultanahmet square.
