The room wasn't the best but the staff made up for it. They were so friendly & helpful that the smaller things didn't matter. Thanks alot, we totally enjoyed ourselves.
chose this hotel for its proximity to the concert venues, so served its purpose for a one night stay for the price we paid.
It's cheap and well located, but suitable for someone that wants to enjoy the facilities of a hotel. Very friendly staff and great cafe downstairs
Friendly Staff
Very good budget hotel
Friendly reception staff made check in and check out fast and efficent.
Staff very friendly, prices quite low, free Internet if you have your own laptop. I was staying there in winter so there weren't many people and my room was not facing the street so it was quiet.
very noisy hotel at the weekend - a band started playing in the building until the early hours of the morning
Recently stayed there over Queens B'day weekend. Finding the place was a little hard, as the main pic advertised is actually on the side and not on the main rd. Parking was restricted, but hotel staff gave up there carpark. At that price, time and location (hop skip and jump from the Vector arena)and friendly service would recommend to all who dont get hung up on the lil things! ;)
Great Budget hotel, good location 5 min walk from Queenstreet. Helpful friendly staff, clean rooms good value! Reccomend it to any budget travellers
Very noisy room overlooking road.Convenient to car hire companies. Would probably not consider staying there again.
Very nice for 3 stars. Good Thai restoraunt in the same building. Quite clean room. Superb location. Problem with parking - you have to pay for the public parking on the opposite side of Beach road.
room needs update. it is good for the price and location. a budget stayover.
very good location for our needs but found the room to be lacking with holes in walls being filled in but not plastered/painted asked for another room which was better so pricing was very good due to the state of the room in my eyes if they do a decent upgrade to a modern look then they would be able to charge more looks more like a youth hostel than a hotel we will be back in the near future
Quite dated, good do with a good scrub, but convenient if you need to attend an event at Vector Arena.
This hotel is very well placed to walk to the ferry terminal and main shopping centre - also you can just take the lift downstairs to brekky and upstairs to have a more substantial meal so you dont need to leave the building. Two other great points are - very close to the Vector Arena and having an ensuite in the room is great especially for a reasonably priced room. Everything was clean and tidy. Happy travels
Location was great and the staff were lovely, but if I was truly honest I wouldn't stay again as it isn't very nice - rooms are tiny and a bit grim. It is very cheap though.
Although we know had a budget room, we still expected the Facilities to clean, the shower didnt look like it had been cleaned for a while. My partner who used the womens toilets in the Bar and eating areas said they were dirty and smelt badly, I myself used the mens toilets, which also were dirty and smelt
The Best So Far I Had Gone To!!!!!
The hotel offers a good location to all the main attractions in Auckland, however if you book this place through this site DO NOT TAKE THE BREAKFAST OPTION!!! its a better deal to buy it in the hotel at half the price you'll be charged here. Apart from that no other complaints. Very comfortable beds.
