Aris Garden Hotel Rome

Die Lage des Hotels ist halt schon ein bisschen im Abseits. Mit dem Bus, welcher den Fahrplan nicht genau einhält und eher selten fährt, schon mal lange, bis man bei der äussersten Metrostation ankommt. Die Hotelanlage ist schön gestaltet, ideal für Familien. Die Pizzeria um die Ecke ist gemütlich.

was great Hotel a little far from central rome but a bus and train and we were there

Absolutely loved it, it is a few (about 4) km out of town but that is really no problem as the transport is wicked, 1 euro for 75 min pass buses and metro on time. The hotel itself is clean enough and the staff are multi lingual and friendly. From the 2nd day both me and my partner were saying we would definitely stay there again and by the 7th day we did not want to leave! i really have no complaints about the place except that there was no kettle in our room.

If you do not want to stay in the center of the city this hotel is the ideal. Quiet, all facilities available, good connections to the city, very good price/quality.

The Hotel is very comfortable, rooms well maintained, TV good but could do with few more English Channels. Airconditioning so so needs servicing, but adequate. Breakfast buffet excellent and wonderful staff very helpful. Reception great really helpful and know all the local district buses etc. Central Rome 40 mins by express bus and metro 1 Euro!! Ostia beaches also 30 mins away change of bus very easy Now the buts!! Sorry. No Internet in Hotel or for kilometres around hotel must rectify this. Also, very strangely, no coffee shop or 24 hour service. This is bad for a 4 star rated hotel, lastly please provide a pen or pencil for writing notes in the room. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet oasis near to room, oh yes the swimmingpool and gym are great!

It is located in a very peacefull place with birds sound and fresh air. With one word "lovely"

The swimming pool was empty -in 24 degrees of heat -and the gymnasium was under repair, so facilities were poor on the occasion I visited. The hotel should had let this be known in its literature. A pity, because the hotel was otherwise fine

Rooms not very soundproof, restaurant buffet only, (there is a good pizzeria round the corner), a long way from city centre. On the other hand, it is in a quiet, green suburb, it is on a very good and very cheap bus route to the city, maybe half an hour, the staff were friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. Overall I would say it is good value for money, but I might look for something more central another time.

could do with a spot of paint breakfast dull for the British scrambled eggs sausage no variation. All in all not to bad. location good for sightseeing rome

The hotel had a very nice swimming pool with a lovely grass area surrounding. Unfortunately our stay was in April and out of season so the pool wasn't filled! I can imagine how nice it would be in the summer though.

A fair way out of Rome but easy to travel as there is a bus from 100m outside the hotel to the metro station where you can catch the metro. On the downside only 1 restaurant nearby. Didn't try the hotel food though as we travelled in to Rome.

The rooms are very clean and also the hotel is in a beautifull green area it is a litle fur from city center(you have to take the bus 709 until the end of the line exactli at metro station fermi and from there are 5 or 6 station to city center). So in about 45 min you get there.the bus station isi exactly near the hotel.The breakfest is good. anyway the hotel is a good choice

Service from reception was really good, regarding maps and directions to get into the city.

Chose the hotel for our night of arrival because it was nearer the airport than Rome centre and we were arriving late. Found our room was spacious, well appointed and clean, but the overall character of the place was a touch faded and eighties looking. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast buffet was quite good, being amply stocked and varied. The hotel catered for a mixed crowd of business people and locals using the function facilities, although quite a few tourists appeared to be using it as a base to see Rome. Despite the distance from the centre, you can get into town easily and cheaply using a bus which stops close to the hotel to the metro station and then metro and they sell tickets on reception. However this may be a problem later in the evening or on Sundays when fewer buses run. Also our taxi driver had problems finding the place. The last minute rate that we got booking on-line was fair value for money, given the cost of hotels in Rome generally.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would like to return. The rooms were clean, staff very pleasant and the grounds of the hotel super.

Great value for money hotel

Good value for money, located too far from centre of Rome, with poor transport facilities during Sundays and bank holidays

Scores low on location is about 20 km from city centre. yet connectivity is good by bus followed by a metro ride. If you are looking for nice quiet surroundings definitely a good deal.
