Set within an ancient building, the hotel has been recently restructured and offers marvellous views over the waters of the canals and the ancient Fortress of Medicis, a unique and romantic sight. If you are arriving by car, there is a free parking area in front of the hotel and a garage 100 metres from the property (additional cost).

Staff were very friendly and most helpful, good location for getting about as excellent train service from Livorno. Staff spoke very good english. Ten plus ten good restaurant across road, good food and very reasonably priced.
Nice rooms in a boat-like style. The staff is very nice also.
