It was nice to stay there, enough space and not to far from the action.
The floor coverings (carpet) is smelly and the bathroom very cramped. Windows are wood and do not seal properly and generally run down. Kitchen great. Best I can say is it serves a purpose for somwhere to sleep.

the pricing was very good but the state of the apartment was pretty bad the room had a very bad smell and the bathroom was horrible
The room was clean but dated. The bathroom was very small a larger sized person may have had a bit a of difficulty getting into the shower.
We stayed at Armadale Apartments purely for it's location. We knew not to expect too much regarding cleanliness etc. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the mattress (this is what counts - wherever you stay). Chose not to use the bathroom due to cleanliness and space issues, we were overnighting and could shower at home, only 1 1/2 hours away. The only disappointment was the lack of TV reception. There wasn't a single channel that we could watch, even after running a scan of all available channels. Thankfully, we stayed on the ground level. We were told that all our conversation in the courtyard carried through to the top floor, so I'm glad we weren't up there. Management was great regarding check in procedure. I recommend this to anyone wanting an overnight stay without the trimmings.
First time staying here. My arrival was after office hours, but it was hassle free. Hotel made neccesary arrangements for the check-in, gave location of the room and even some info on surrounding areas and how to get to the city. The Front Desk Mgr, A..., very helpful and nice. He made us feel at home.
Nice comfortable clean place to stay and very handy to Chapel street etc. Only negative would be the car parking area, very tight driveways and can be hard finding an appropriate spot, particularly for larger vehicles.
We stayed for a weekend. easy to find really close to tram stop close to city, room basic but clean and comfortable price great for location parking a bonus. will stay again for sure

Alright if your not fussy. Worn old building with reasonably tidy rooms, serviced if you pressure management. Had all we needed in the apartment for the week, 7-11 next door and not far from Prahan Market. Public transport nearby.
I thought that for the price it was ok, however if i paid the normal rate i would of been dissatisfied. The manager on duty was not very helpful when asked questions about the area. I thought doing the dishes in the apartment would of been included. I was pleased when the room i booked was upgraded as there was nothing else available when the website said it was at no extra charge.

Pleasant staff but disappointed with standard of cleanliness in apartment. Both single beds in 2nd bedroom were uncomfortable -(past their 'use-by' date?) Would not stay there again.
Not an upmarket place but represents very good value for money. Units spacious. Very well placed for tram and bus transport and has a 7/11 shop next door.
These apartments are always presented very well. They are clean, bright, well-appointed and tastefully furnished. Location is very quiet and tranquil, but also very close to public transport, so you can be in the Melbourne CBD in less than 20 minutes. Excellent!
The facilities were adequate although "rather tired".
Good value for a 3 star accommodation in a great location with a 7/11 store outside is open 24hr. Would choose for next stay.
Handy for the frequent trams in to the centre of Melbourne.
Well maintained, very roomy, reasonably quiet, older style building. i would happily stay there again if I wanted space and did nt need to be mid city.
Neat, clean, simple and inexpensive accommodation.
