Armadale Serviced Apartments Melbourne

"We stayed at Armadale Apartments purely for it's location. We knew not to expect too much regarding cleanliness etc. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the mattress (this is what counts - wherever you stay). Chose not to use the bathroom due to cleanliness and space issues, we were overnighting and could shower at home, only 1 1/2 hours away. The only disappointment was the lack of TV reception. There wasn't a single channel that we could watch, even after running a scan of all available channels. Thankfully, we stayed on the ground level. We were told that all our conversation in the courtyard carried through to the top floor, so I'm glad we weren't up there. Management was great regarding check in procedure. I recommend this to anyone wanting an overnight stay without the trimmings. " - Michael Durkin

"First time staying here. My arrival was after office hours, but it was hassle free. Hotel made neccesary arrangements for the check-in, gave location of the room and even some info on surrounding areas and how to get to the city. The Front Desk Mgr, A..., very helpful and nice. "Nice comfortable clean place to stay and very handy to Chapel street etc. Only negative would be the car parking area, very tight driveways and can be hard finding an appropriate spot, particularly for larger vehicles." - Anonymous

"Upon entering the room, there's a strong terrible smell, should have done something on this! Fridge supply was switched off & it's small, also got a terrible smell. Toilet & Bathroom is extremely small & cramp, more like a motel style. Cupboard layout is old & dangerous! The sharp edge could have blinded anyone who's not careful as the mini fridge is just below the cupboard. Hot water supply for bathing is crazy, one minute warm, then the next either cold or else extreme hot....bad old system. Could become roasted pig if not careful. Checkout time, was rushed by reception via a phone call. Totally would not recommend to anyone, should have been named a motel instead! Kettle provided is rusty inside. Never ever entered an apt or hotel with a strong smell upon entering before in my life till Armadale service apt ! " - Anonymous
