Arriva Hotel London Guest Reviews

4.4 out of 5

Good location for Kings Cross and the tube. Price we got at 60GBP per night for a double ensuite was v. good for London. Room is basic but perfectly adequate, and they have a lift which most of these hotels don't have. Cleanliness could have been better in the bathroom, but on the whole it was OK. Bed comfy. Continental breakfast only so so: toast, cornflakes, tea and coffee. One morning they offered yogurt, one morning they had some cheese slices, one morning they had some ham slices! Counter staff are friendly, breakfast staff are rather grim!

4 out of 5

The Arriva Hotel is very well placed for Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. The rooms are small but OK if you are just using it as a base as we did, and because you can store your luggage there until you check in or after you check out without having to pay the hefty fees at the stations. If you are after a hearty breakfast, this isn't the place for you - cereals and toast is all you get with tea or coffee. The Breakfast room is also fairly small so you may end up waiting for a table, but you get what you pay for and for the price, I have no complaints. I would stay here again wehn using Eurostar.

Stayed here because of its close poximity to Eurostar as we had an early train. Read previous reviews and was a bit dubious about staying here, but I found it clean and tidy. the room was small, so wouldn't recommend a long stay here, but for our purpose was fine. Breakfast didn't start untl 7.30 so missed that and can't comment

Arriva Hotel is an excellent value for money accommodation in an ideal location with good connections to the rest of london via tube or bus. the hotel rooms are clean, have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a small tv. The breakfast suits me in that it is fairly simple but the most important part is good friendly service and lovely strong coffee. For value for money it would be hard to beat the arriva hotel

Room was VERY small. Double bed pushed agaist one wall & just enough room to edge down other side. Hotel was clean & staff OK but next to busy road , walls and ceilings were thin and lots of noise from adjacent rooms and rooms above. Don't think I would use this hotel again at this price.

Larger room than I expeted for the bargain price. Everything looked and smelt clean. The room was also warm. Booking a cheap hotel around King's Cross would be a gamble I thought but the Arriva is a fine place to crash for a night during the party season.
