Hotel description:    Fascinating and unique adventure hotel of art!

The Art-Fabrik Hotel was built up only a few years ago from the historical and landmarked house of the family Friedrich Engels, patronized by the Bethe foundation.

Our 140 rooms are all very spacious and comfortably equipped. As all rooms are individually designed, guests have the possibility to choose from at least 3 rooms.

We provide 12 conference rooms with capacity for up to 650 people.
Let yourself be spoiled with culinary specialities in the special atmosphere of our elegant restaurant, listening to the sounds of piano music. Experience the perfect symbiosis of music and art, visible in the furniture with its many exclusive creations of famous artists.
Our guests can make use of our business area including computers with free of charge access to the internet , W-LAN connection is available and is free of charge.
Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of our wellness centre that offers cosmetic treatments, any type of massages, a Persian Hammam with sauna (Free of charge: Su-Thu: 6-10 p.m., Fr + Sat 9-11 a.m.), jacuzzi and tea-room and a in-house barber.
Enjoy a NEW experience with music for a good night sleep developed by Asian Psychologists.
Our hotel offers a free hotel owned art collection which change every 3 month.

We are a Non-Profit Hotel, whose earnings from the selling of artwork are donated to 6 German childrens hospices, sponsored by the Bethe foundation

Getting there: Getting there by public transport:
Take bus number 611 from Wuppertals main bus stop in Elberfeld towards Oberbarmen. Get off at the stop Erwinstrae.
Take a Schwebebahn or train towards Oberbarmen. Get off at the stop Oberbarmen and walk 10 minutes to the hotel

Getting there by car:
Approaching Wuppertal on the A1: take the exit Wuppertal Ronsdorf, then follow signs towards Wuppertal Barmen for about 5km. Once you reach the crossing Heckinghauserstrae turn left into Bockmhle.
Approaching Wuppertal on the A46: take the exit Wuppertal Barmen and go straight over the intersection Alter Markt, take the first road on the left Winklerstrae and follow this road for about 2.7km.
