Getting there:Public transport: Bus 164, bus stop 'Sloterweg', Tram 2, tram stop 'Aletta Jacobslaan' as well as the metro 50, metro stop 'Henk Sneevlietweg' are within comfortable walking distance. By car, A4 direction Amsterdam, exit S107 Sloten. Take a right and follow the road around, keep going, once you pass under the flyover, take the left which is 'David Ricardrostraat and you drive into 'John M. Keynesplein'. The hotel is on your right hand side. By car, from direction Utrecht A10, Follow the A10 ring road via the 'RAI', keeping the right hand lane for a split direction 'Zaanstad'. Take exit S107 Sloten, then take a left, direction 'Sloten/Slotervaart'. Carry straight along the 'Henk Sneevlietweg'. At the T-junction take a left into the 'Johan Huizingalaan'. After +/- 500m on the right take the 'David Ricardostraat', you arrive at the 'John M. Keynesplein'.

Child Policy:First child under 12 years can stay in their parents room in existing bedding free of charge. (only possible in rooms with 2 beds of 1.20 meter, so on request only)

good hotel. bit far from the airport, but they have everything. especially, their dry clearning service was spurb. you can take your clothes within a day if you bring it to their front until 9:00. the rooms are pretty clean, the front sell bottles of water and icecreams. perhaps I'll come this hotel again if I have next chance to visit this country.
very good rooms, very clean, good facilities, free wifi in the room, only negative comment was that the agency that booked the rooms for us re-assured us that we could check in at 10am, arrived at 11 am and told that we had to wait till 2pm, must admit though that the manager did find rooms for us and we checked in at around 11:30. So overall very good
Very nice hotel, for good price. Good choice for weekend stay, ten minute walk to tram and then 20-25 minutes ride to the center does not hurt, since you're going to stay at the city all day anyways. Too soft beds though.
All aspects were of a high standard except for the male receptionist who seemed to be polite but impatient on answering further questions or requests.
Check the location as it is in the middle of the business district and there are no other shops or restaurants nearby
A nice quite hotel as it is a wee bit out of town but the bus stop is right outside which we found out after taking a tram to the last stop and then walking quite a way so we then enjoyed our stay after that.
Very nice hotel, great facilities, nice staff. Only downsides are the location (a bit far from anywhere but close enough to the trams and metro) and the dinner menu (extremely pool selection in my opinion).
I wish there were blankets in the room because even though we turned the heat on it would not heat the way we wanted it. Not that it was cold just not warm enough for us.

When one has no objections against (regularly) a bus with tourists staying overnight, having dinner and checking out, the hotel is perfect. Modern incl. all facilities etc. I intend to go back. An advice for the management, don't let people too long to be seated in the restaurant; staff is friendly but always busy.
4th stay at Artemis, excellent business hotel, clean, beautiful contemporary design and very nicely appointed. The hotel's own secure undeground parking and world class buffet breakfast are great, but as with anything great, they come at a price! Clearly oriented towards the business traveller, I wouldn't recommend it for family vacations; located out of city center (outside the "ring"), in a business/industrial district (no restaurants or activity around), poorly serviced by public transit, and any addition to the basic room charge quickly adds up. Nevertheless, the complimentary internet(the "no fuss" kind: no stupid user names and 24 digit "random" passwords; just hookup and you're surfing) is great and I consider this hotel to be, bar none, the absolute best alternative in Amsterdam for short business stays when travelling by car; as it is always my case, consider me a regular customer!
3rd stay in the Artemis, and surely not the last: excellent business hotel, premium location if you're travelling by car (litterally on the "ring"). Hotel's own car parks (let alone "underground and secured") are vitually inexistent in AMS, this one has it, GREAT! Clean, beautiful contemporary design, classy and well appointed. The beautiful restaurant terrasse to enjoy the gourmet breakfast buffet is a great way to start a day in the Dutch office...Consider me a regular customer!
the hotel offers all one needs; staff though seems to be a bit in-experienced. cleaning could use more attention!
Lovely and fashionable hotel. Modern, cosy rooms, with large beds, wooden floors and sophisticated design. Beautiful bar area with delicious cocktails. Multilingual and friendly staff. Good facilities. 20 min by bus to the city centre.
Breathtaking and perfect hotel, only negative is they are very attentive so to not be disturbed ever 5 mins with people checking you are ok put the do not disturb on your room door immediately.
Nice rooms, convenient to ring road, metro station not too far away, very good administration/reception. Will definitely return.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They gave me very good information on the tram and bus service, as the hotel is out of the centre. The hotel is modern and very clean. Breakfast was very good with a large selection to choose from.
