"This hotel was great. The location - in between The Duomo and the church of the Ascension couldn't have been better.
The room was a corner one with great views - clean, with high ceilings and good towels. Hotel reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Out of hours access was easy.
The breakfast times are strict they close at 0930.

By car
From the south: on the A1 highway, take the Firenze Sud exit. Drive along viali di Circonvallazione following the indications to Firenze centro. Reach piazza della Libert and go straight until you reach piazza S. Marco. Proceed on via Cavour, turn left in via Alfani, and then right in via dei Servi.
From the north: on the A1 highway, take the Firenze Nord exit and follow the indications to Fortezza da Basso. Drive along viale Spartaco Lavagnini and then take via S. Caterina d'Alessandria, towards piazza S. Marco. Follow on via Cavour, turn left in via Alfani and finally right in via dei Servi.
By train
The Santa Maria Novella railway station lies about 1.5 km from the property. You can reach the hotel by taxi, easily found at the station, or by one of the several bus lines available to piazza S. Marco, for example numer 17 or 30, and then walk for a few metres.
