Hotel description:    Our hotel is located in the very city centre of the historic Berlin at the bench to the river Spree and the famous shopping boulevard Friedrichstrasse. Our direct neighbours are the varietè Friedrichstadtpalast and the comedians of the Quatsch Comedy Club.
Within 5 years and with much love to details the designer & owner Uwe Buttgereit has reconstructed and furnished the former automobile salon and artist pension to the probably most extraordinary Hotel & Spa in the whole city.

All of our 40 rooms are different and so we can offer everything starting from small low budget rooms ** up to the Riverside Deluxe Spa Suite ****** with panorama view. Enjoy the magnificent view of the river Spree from your the waterbed or while taking a beautybath in the impressive cast-bronze tub.

The Spa "Day Spa" decorated in Bali-style offers an enormous variety of cosmetic-, massage- and bath- treatments inspired by tradional treatments from Asia and the Orient.

Real Highlights are:
the unique Golden Floating Shell - you and your partner can float in warm sole water or use it as a Jacuzzi
the panorama sauna - with view to the river Spree and the bustling Boulevard Friedrichstrasse of course in absolute privacy

During a festival Ed Harris, Macaulay Culkin and Seth Green described the hotel as „a really great hotel”. Artist like Sebastian Blomberg and Maria Schrader or sportsmen like Reinhold Messner and Lothar Matthäus appreciate the distinctive charm of the artist hotel.
