The Ascot Park Hotel is set in peaceful and attractive landscaped surroundings on the outskirts of the city. 5 km from the city centre and less than 15 minutes from the airport. With a total of 116 rooms we offer both motel, hotel and apartment style accommodation. 4 Star Qualmark rated. Inhouse restaurant and two bars, one with TAB facilities and pokie machines. The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and gymnasium.

Getting there:From the airport turn left. Drive over the over bridge and turn left at the round about. Turn right at the memorial round about, you are now on Tay Street. The Ascot Park Hotel is situated on the out skirts of town. Drive approximately 5km's from the city centre and you will find us on the left hand side of the road.
Check-in Procedure:Hotel reception is 24 hours, however an arrival time is preferred if known.
Car parking:All rooms offer off street parking. Some rooms have car parking directly outside guest rooms. All car parking os free of charge.
Child Policy:Children 12 years and under are free of charge if using exsisting bedding.
Nice and clean and warm. When we got snowed in late checkout wasn't a problem and very helpful with finding out about road conditions for us.
Motels well priced, good location and warm. A little walk to the main complex but not too bad. Only issue with the motels was that on the ones with connecting doors you could easily hear noise from the other motel units.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ascot Park and would return quite happily.

I stayed in a motel unit. It was very clrn and the rooms' facilities were excellent. Excellen t customer service and bar service. Only concern was that I discovered that he unit has a connecting door which was not locked when I arrived. I contacted reception who said the would remedy this. I presume they did. A very enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

Nice big, comfortable rooms, very quiet
This is a good place to stay in Invercargill, but the facilities (e.g. pool) were under renovation at the time which limited our appreciation of this hotel.
The hotel complex is large and modern but not central. The motel units are quite separate and need updating. Although clean, spacious, with full kitchen, we didn't feel they qualified for 4 star rating. They back onto the main road which is noisy.
Hotel was a a 5 or so minute drive to the town center. We were informed our room would have a double bed and 2 singles in but it only had 1 single. Also, when paying on departure the receptionist was unable to divide the amount to pay each equally so one of us was charged double the others - seemed quite simple to me!
I always stay here. Probably for the last 25 years now.

This hotel is charming. My room and bathroom were BIG (nice, big, clean bathtub). Never any problems getting the courtesy van to take me into town or the airport. Friendly staff. Good grilled ostrich appetizer in the restaurant, and enjoyed the two bars I went to (one with a TAB and slot machines and good bar menu; the other with a nice, cozy atmosphere). I actually really loved this place.
