Ashling Hotel Dublin

Excellent as usual. Stayed here three times before and it is excellent. Staff are fiendly and very clean. rooms are very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was right across the street from the train station, which making our tours very easy and convenient. The only thing I would change would be the mattress on the bed. It wasn't very comfortable. The room was very nice and well kept. I would certainly stay here again.

A great location. Although some way from the city centre, it is well placed for trams, city buses, the hop-on hop-off tour bus and the bus link to the airport. The rooms were fantastic - huge and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was good value at 11 euro. An excellent choice for anyone visiting Dublin. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel perfectly placed for transport connections. Just outside the door are buses and trams to anywhere in the city or the airport. The main train station, just across the street (and river), connects to any city in Ireland. Rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfortable.

excellent hotel for getting to train or city centre

Currently undergoing MAJOR reconstruction though I have to say that it did not particularly affect our stay. Only small problem was finding the entrance due to the fact that the front door has been moved to a back strest during the renovations.

Our room was somewhat small given the price we paid.

Great hotel if you are happy to be 20mins walk to city centre, if you are looking for a more peaceful nights sleep. Didn't bother with tram as like a walk, but it's right outside, as are buses. 10 mins walk from Guinness Storehouse (worth a visit), 2 mins from station. Clean and tidy. Good quality varied Breakfast. Staff V helpful. Would use again.

Great location - 1 min walk from the train/bus station (Heuston) and a 15/20 mins walk to city centre shopping and nightlife. Hotel has a decent bar and a very good Irish breakfast. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent base for a short break in Dublin.

Ideal location for exploring Dublin and easy access to tram system directly into city centre.

This hotel was located outside the city centre, however it was in close proximity to heuston station, Pheonix park, the zoo and the Guinness factory. You could walk to the centre within 15-20 minutes, otherwise there is a tram line that runs past the hotel and the pick up point is only 2 minutes walk away. This is an inexpensive form of travel and will drop you beside O'Connell St. Be warned though it can be very crowded.

Nice hotel, clean rooms and good location close to the LUAS tram and Heuston Railway station. Very much noise - screaming teenagers - in the Pub weekend evenings.

Will use this hotel again as its location suits .

Excellently situated across the road from the tram stop outside Heuston Station, so easy access into city centre, Air Link 748 bus also stops there. Not too far to walk into the citycentre either. Excellently placed for the Guinness Storehouse, you can beat the crowds!! Restaurant highly recommended when you can't face going back into Dublin. Staff are friendly and efficient and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Bar is excellent.

The hotel was slightly far from the main town but buses, trams and trains were on the doorstep. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
