Aspect Central Cairns Hotel

Very good motel but a 15+ minute walk to the town centre Would not recommend only for the location

The room was clean. We had a dip in their pool which was nice after a hot, humid Cairns afternoon. They also had a mini fridge in the room, so if you had a drink or something, that was useful. Only complaint was the bunk beds were VERY squeaky. If anyone even turned their head, it made a loud noise. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Value for money. Leisurely 10-15 min walk to CBD/Waterfront

the small single bed sagged and left u with a falling sensation out of the bed. the room was extremly small

Very clean place to stay ,Like gate their for security for the cars. Friendly reception staff on arrival & Departure.Very helpful in making tour bookings.

Stayed here for three days on brief holiday in Cairns. 5 minutes by car from the Marina and main shopping areas. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, several families were here, and it was still quiet in my room. Great value for the cost!

Venue was excellent Not noisy as expected being next to highway but very quiet Rooms very good large bathroom very clean

Nice hotel a few minutes away from the airport and also within walking distance to all the car rental agencies and to the centre. Room was nice, and clean, and well equipped. Even had air conditioning, which works out to be handy in Cairns when it's hot.

Our only "complaint" was that we hung the sign "Please tidy my room" on the outside door, & 1 of the staff said it might blow off in the wind, so she moved it, & apparently hung it the wrong way around so that it said "Do not disturb"-and opur room did not get tidied that day! We had to go to the office to ask for clean towels, and our beds never did get made that day.

The motel offers good clean accommodation with all necessary facilities (eg. cooking) plus an on-site restaurant and bar. If you are not spending much time in your accommodation then you will find Aspect Central ideal as the beds are comfortable, bathroom big, airconditioning very effective & the environment quiet. There were a couple of minor maintenance tasks that needed doing (like an annoying bodgy door handle on the bathroom door and a wonky dining table due to a missing foot) and probably will get done. The pool is supposed to be open until 9pm but I found it closed at 7pm daily which annoyed me as I like to relax in the water after a hectic day. The staff were very helpful and provided much tourism information and a booking facility. The Motel is about 10 - 15 minutes walk from town which is OK if you like walking and about 5 minutes from the northern end of the bay-front boardwalk.

I liked the room very much - there was both a double and a single bed in the room, along with a fridge and a table with two chairs. The staff at reception could not have been more helpful. My only reservation was that the hotel was quite a walk from the centre. However, there was a parade of shops close by with a supermarket and the hotel had its own restaurant. I would stay there again, if in Cairns.

I only booked single room. Although small, which I expected, it was surprisingly modern, very well furnished with quality inclusions and I had a very comfortable night's sleep. If the double and family rooms are of the same standard, I would recommend to anyone. More than a walk to town.

I payed for a single room,but was upgraded to a superior suite without any further charge. I had a look at the single room, it was nicely decorated however very small with no windows. I think I would have been disapointed with the single room however the upgrade was worth its weight in gold. I did forget my passport in the bedside draw. I phoned a day later and the receptionist found the passport and kept it safe. So for that reason alone the stay was worth it.

This was my 1st stay here and I only stayed one night but found the place to be quite central to everything in Cairns, the staff were very friendly, the room was very tidy and had all the essential ammenities you would need. The price was also very reasonable.
