Was clean but a small shower would not fit a large person.
We found this motel very nice the only critisizm would be it was cold. No heating apart from one small heater, we left the heater on in the evening while we were out and when we came back the room felt better we are talking winter months. The unit was very clean a bit dated but for the cost fine. We stayed in a 2 bed unit electric blankets on bed, kitchen one of the best equipt I have seen for a while. We would stay there again, but maybe not in the winter!
All aspects of this motel were excellent.In fact,we have stayed in 4-star hotels which could not have matched AKT's standards.Very clean, well equipped (if not over the top for a motel)and very helpful proprietors who even opened the restaurant on Saturday to serve breakfast!
The Manager deserves high praise for making one feel welcome on arrival. My ratings refer to the 2-room unit in which I stayed. The single rooms looked a bit small, other than that, I would recommend this motel.
Management didn't seem to be particularly cheerful/friendly on greeting us (new customers) to the motel. We had never stayed there before. All other parts of our stay were satisfactory.
