The hotel Aspromonte is situated on two floors of an early 20th century building in Milan, in front of Aspromonte square; famous all over Milan for the beautiful and very green public gardens with more than 135 tall trees some of which are a century old, with games for children, a basketball field and a great number of benches. Near Piazzale Loreto (MM1-MM2) a short walk will get you to Città Studi (City of Studies) Politecnico of Milan and the Università Statale (State University) Very close to the famous shopping area of Corso Buenos Aires (150mt) Easily reachable from all directions, the property is not far from the main attractions of the city. The hotel is fully air conditioned and features a nice garden and American bar, that provide the perfect setting for a relaxing break.

Getting there:By car The hotel is easily reachable by the tangenziale est, exit 8Lambrate, following the indications to Piazzale Loreto. By train The hotel is only 2 stop by underground from the railway station Milano Centrale (MM2) By airplane The hotel is 15 minutes by taxi from the Milano Linate city airport and 50 minutes from the Milano Malpensa airport and rio al serio Bergamo. Buses for both airports depart from the Milano Centrale railway station.

Piazza Aspromonte isn't something special. But it's near Loreto and Corso Buenos Aires (shopping street). The rooms were fully renovated and clean. Breakfast area rather small and poor, although breakfast was ok. Typical *** Milan hotel. Do not expect much, but it's decent and at a fair price.
The hotel offers quite good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are quite basic, as can be expected in this price range. The hotel is well located for the metro and trams. As my room ws on the topfloor my room had no window, but did have a skylight. The room was quite small but adequate for my purposes.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. There was a very pleasant atmosphere in the breakfast room, and I imagine that the room will be extra nice when the door for the garden can be opened. The garden looked lovely.
