Getting there:The Astor Apartments are located at Spring Hill, 1 block north of Central Rail Station. FROM DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS follow signs to City. From the motorway/freeway you will follow a City sign exit left that will get you onto Kingsford Smith Drive (UBD map141). Proceed along Kingsford Smith Drive continuing with the Brisbane river immediately on your left (UBD map140). At Newstead veer left onto Breakfast Creek Road which becomes Ann Street (its one way - you are now in the city). Continue along Ann Street through a five-way intersection moving to the right hand lane (UBD map160). Turn right into Wharf Street and left into Astor Terrace. Astor Apartments is 300 metres on the left (UBD map 159). Approx $30 by taxi, $12/person by CoachTrans to our door, $9/person by AirTrain. The closest major intersection is Upper Edward Street and Astor Terrace.
Check-in Procedure:Guests are requested to present their credit card at check-in to guarantee incidental charges. For guests arriving outside office hours, an after hours access code is required. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Car parking:FREE secure under cover parking provided for one car per apartment.
Child Policy:Rates are per room for two people; with a max of three people per room. Additional guests are charged at $25 per night Cots and high chairs are available at a charge of $25 per week, per item payable direct.
The location was great for the purpose of our visit the room was spacious with a very large balcony and pool on same level that we could not use as it was raining and our stay was medical but to chill in brissy for a few days in a quiet area this would be a great spot close to train,mall,casino just a short walk away.
Great location within walking distance of city attractions; free underground parking; well-equipped kitchen/full size fridge/dishwasher/washing machine; very small but adequate bathroom, no shelf space; air-con was ineffective (would have been worse in hotter weather). Interior of the building was pleasantly light and airy with access to outdoor balcony areas (we had a studio apartment on 3rd floor near pool and outdoor bbq - so other floors may not be so bright). We'd stay again if the deal was right.

Very happy with condition of room and facilities, very clean and well presented. Service (out of hours) was called and we received a prompt response. Would recommend to family and friends.
Good location- walking distance to city. Clean and tidy. Good to have foxtel but tv way too small in living room and no tv in bedroom. Front office staff not very helpful. They seem to very unhappy in their jobs. Overall I would stay there again, however I think $120 a night for 5 nights is expensive.
Excellent location and perfect for business type stays.
Large clean apartments with proper kitchens (including cooker with oven and a microwave). Rooms aren't serviced daily which can be an issue for long stays (towels aren't changed). Reception is only open from 8am to 5pm which can be difficult if you are travelling inter-state to check in, but keys can be collected from an after-hours safe and there is a place to drop off keys on departure.
Stayed at the apartments for 5 days.Very safe and secure,close to good eating spots if you did not want to cook your own. Full kitchen and laundry facilities in unit, 5 minutes walk to Central station,10 minutes walk to central mall of Brisbane. Undercover secure parking also included in price. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Full five stars to this place, I really cannot fault these apartments

Very close to Central Railway Station and mall. Views from balcony were crap but other wise good place to stay.
The people on the front desk were very helpful.The only problem was a tv that didn't work which was replaced immediately and with no hassle. Would definitely stay there again.
Near to centre, good price, alots of space, only problem its a hill walk home from city centre!
The sliding door was jammed and took a massive effort to open. Not a big thing, but annoying.
rooms need small upkeep, TV/video needs updating, room showing signs of age...would use again.
Location was fantastic and it was so much cheaper than being a block or 2 over in the "city". It was well situated, well equipped with everything you could want and just a fantastic place to stay - we'd stay again happily !
Excellent location, great spacious living area, good layout with bedrooms and bathrooms. Good kitchen facilities. Nice pool and spa area. Ensuite of main bedroom a little on the small side, however very adequate with toilet, shower & hand basin. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.
Apartment looks a little tired. Shower/bath mouldy.
