Astor Court Hotel London Guest Reviews

3.6 out of 5

This hotel gets a good "OK" from me. Reasonably located with all the basics you need. Clean and reasonably well presented for the money. The staff were helpful (but did not ask a lot from them) I just wanted somewhere reasonably clean and convenient to sleep as I was out all the time. I would book this hotel again if the price was right ([website] prices)

The room was very very cold, the heating WAS working, but it must be bad roof-lagging, as we were on the top floor. Shower did not work at all. BUT we did not complain, what we should have done, to give the hotel a chance to correct this flaws.

The location is good walking distance to oxford circus. The breakfast was very good for a continental. The room we had was a good size and clean. Overall is was very good value for the price paid.

This is a perfect hotel if you want to stay in the central London. Not too expensive and a good standard. The breakfast is simple, but ok. The coffe was good. I will give this hotel all my recommandations, and will surely visit them again myself.

Well located for the West End. Shops theatres etc all within easy walking distance. Everything about the hotel good. Overall extremely good value for money, especially considering its position.

A very spacious room, old but full of charm. Had tea and coffee facilities but no fridge. Had small lounge area, spacious hall and large bathroom and location is excellent, we walked to oxford street tube. Pub and shops close by but hallam street itself was very quiet. Breakfast was included and though it was continental it had good variety. Staff were very friendly.

Check in was at 2. We arrived early and the room was ready at one which was very helpful since we had a wedding to attend. Staff very friendly and helpful. Did not make breakfast so cannot comment.

Good Location but the hotel seems a relic from a bygone age.A refurbishment needs more than a coat of paint over the woodchip wallpaper and a new carpet in the foyer.Hotel was clean though and the continental breakfast was ok.I would be disapointed if id paid any more than 95 for the double room(room rate £150 !!!!).

Wireless Internet is not included as it was declared. Not friendly. Late chec-in. Pure breakfast. For this price a lot of better hotels with included Wireless Internet.

Breakfast should be more than just continental. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a great location for shops. Room was clean and tidy but very old fashioned and could do with some modernisation - I have not pulled a chain in a toilet for years and the windows could do with some repairs.

We were looking for a hotel in the region of Oxford Circus and this hotel ticked most of the boxes. Cost was fine for central London, location was 10 to 15 mins walk to Oxford St and Regent St. The hotel lacked a bar but the room was clean and appeared recently refurbished. There was some building work taking place neasrby so a bit noisy.
