"I stayed in this hotel twice once in the standard (unrenovated room) and once in the delux. Standard room is not good value and a bit of a dive but the delux room was of a good standard. As withh the philipines the staff were freindly but the hotel is a bit tired." - Dougal Mcpherson

"Clean and nice. Big rooms, with good furnishing. The location's not for everyone (it's right up against the red-light-district), but there's plenty of nightlife and food around, and taxis are easy to get hold of." - Anonymous

"The [website] was showing this hotel as best buy and showed it as 4 star. At 90usd per night i thought that might be good value. Dont know if i trust [website']s ratings because this was at best a 3 star and at 90usd very bad price. I noticed a few days later the price on the website was down to 60usd. Apart from the fact that it is a very tired old hotel - my shower was luke warm. So i ring up housekeeping. They send up the maintenance man - he tries the water and says it is hot enough. I argue with him it is not so he tells me change rooms. Reception rings me and tells me no rooms left to change they will send the maintenance man back. Of course he did not turn up. Stay away from this hotel - better value elsewhere. " - Anonymous

"Hotel was very reasonably priced . Staff were very friendly and efficient Location on the edge of Makati city was quite good. Room was a good size and furnished ok. Choice of satellite TV channels was very good. I would reccommend this hotel to others as being good value for money." - craig murgatroyd
