Astor Hotel Miami

We went there for extended weekend. Hotel has very good location, just 5 minutes off the beach and it is quite close to the "party" area. Rooms were clean, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only thing what we've missed there was refrigerator..especially in summer time, ref is necessity..

We arrived earlier than expected and the staff accommodated us by letting us watch the World Cup game in their closed bar. Our room was ready an hour early and we were allowed in. Staff was very nice and friendly. Needed more mirrors in the room. The restaurant was closed indefinitely they said but was advertised as being open. Would have been nice to know that.

Great location close to beach and everything, huge room clean and very comfortable! friendly staff and happy hour drinks were lovely. free shuttle to the Airport what more can we ask?!

I was charged an additional USD15 for each night when I arrived, this was in addition to the charge I paid through booking on hotelclub. I was advised this was to pay for amenities such as beach towels, breakfast and shuttle bus. I'm not sure if this is a Miami thing as I have not had to pay extra at other hotels for these items. The breakfast was a loaf a bread for toast, choice of 2 cereals and juice. The phone did not work in my room That aside I liked the hotel and the location, the staff were friendly and I would be inclinded to stay again.

continental breakfast was just ok rooms were spacious but the flooring in rooms and corridors is fake timber [very nice] and is not laid on soundproofing material.so noise travels and can be annoying late at night. in house restaurant is very good its also two blocks to ocean drive with all its eateries lastly three blocks to beach[walk] taxi 10mins to cruise terminal and 20mins to tri rail station and airport

It´s a good-small hotel. Near beach. Good staff. The price for me it´s a little expensive, but it´s recommended.

It´s a old hotel, but it´s very good. Clean, good service and a friendly staff. I only think that it´s too expensive. There are best options. But it´s recommended !!

The staff is very nice and accomodating. The valet service had my car ready exactly on time. The linens were crisp with a high thread count and the bed was made nice and tight. My two bad comments are that the room smelled a little smokey and the bathroom - while the finishes were up to date - appeared a little time worn and needed to be freshened up. My rave review is for the restaurant in the hotel - Johnny V. It was wonderful. Best dinner I've had in a long time. I had a great Argentinian Malbec to drink. The meal was mahi with lump crabmeat on top and a scallop emulsion cream sauce, hericot verts, and a type of hash brown potatoes with lump lobster meat. The bread was a nice focaccia with garlic and rosemary. The whole thing was scrumptious and the wait staff was very nice and accomodating. It's no fun dining alone when you are traveling for work. A great meal definitely makes up for it. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Thanks for the great value!
