This was a fabulous find for our stay in busy Rome. Walking distance to main station and a real haven to come home to. The ground floor central garden area ideal for a cool drink after a days sightseeing. Staff couldn't be more helpful with directions, ideas, resturant tips etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room a little on the small side but we only used it for sleeping!

very close to termini train station. (central station) connects you to anywhere in ROME (buses and trains) . Great if you need to get an early train or bus to the airport Rooms nice and clean. Tiny though, very small (even Hong Kong rooms was bigger). Great bed and very nice bathroom and showers. Perfect for a good nice sleep after a long day traveling. breakfast was ok nice and simple. i can't believe they don't have toast WTF!!!!!!!! coffee was pretty good though better then all the other 12 or so hotels i have stayed in Europe! Ugly looking neighborhood but felt really safe. Even walking home at 3am in the morning with my wife we felt safe. Not much to do or eat near the hotel but 5 minutes to termini and from termini you can get anywhere. Service at the hotel was very good considering its only a 3 star hotel!

We stayed at the hotel for four days in May and we cannot pick fault, we read all the other reviews and the ones that where critical must have stayed somewhere else. We had a garden room and while not large was more than adequate as we only sleep and wash in there. The garden is magnificent and the perfect place to sit in the evening with a bottle of wine.

Our room was quite small, but next to the beautiful garden with banana trees etc. Service at the reception was excellent. Location near the Termini station is practical when walking around and using Metro or bus services.

Good one night stay to jump from Fumicino airport further to Italy (Florence in my case). There are many cheap hotels near Termini, and they are generally below average quality. Astoria Garden is a nice standout.

We stayed at the Astoria for nights and paid about $US110 a night, by booking early online. It was fabulous - the rooms were spotless, the location is great and the included breakfast was spot on. If you are looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price in Rome you should stay here!

The reception is manned 25 hours a day and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again but will book a garden room next time as they open onto a beautiful little central garden.

Good deal, 10' walk to train station and buses to airport, small but decent rooms, welcoming staff. 3 cons: 1-Check in at 2 pm, I was in Rome at 9 am and had to wander and wait 5 hours! 2- Payment at check in, problem with Gold Visa card, but same card accepted at all other places in Rome, wonder why? 3-Breakfast employee could be a little more jovial.

First time we stayed at the Astoria Gardens we were put into a garden room and whilst the garden was nice the room was extremely small and so was the bathroom but the staff were extremely helpful. When we returned to Rome we had a room in the main part of the hotel and this was a huge improvement. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but we would stay there again because the staff were just so nice and helpful and it was so centrally located.

The location of this Hotel is exdcellent and within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions and with exdelloent connections to all forms of public transport. There are many bars and restaurants in the vicinity yet the hotel is extremely peacefull at night time and there is no noise whatsoever from passing traffic. It is typically Italian in design with a lovely little courtyard garden in the rear which would be very welcoming during the hot summer months. If we return to Rome in the future I would certainly try to get into this Hotel. It had all the requirements that our party of four were looking for. Central location comfortable rooms and the breakfast was very good, if simple. Wonderful choise for travellers wanting to visit Rome for a few days.
