"The location is fine just a short walk from the train station and still outside of the no cars zone. The free bikes are a great touch and make for easy sight seeing around town. "A fantastic find in Bologna, this was a fully equiped studio appartment 100m from the train station and 400m from the centre of town. Fantastic value for money although the hot water did not work. You have to go back to the main hotel for breakfast but this is a 2min walk away. Fully renovated appartment, practically new. highly recommended." - Katie Dobson

The Hotel Astoria is situated in a quiet historical building in the city centre, just a short walk from the railway station and only a few minutes from all the important points of interest (the airport, the trade fair and the university). The hotel consists of a central building and an internal annex with views over the garden. There are a total of 38 rooms all fitted with every comfort.

By flight: Marconi Airport is about 7 km. far from the Hotel and fromt the airport you can reach Hotel by taxi, for an indicative cost of Euro 20,00, for a 20 minutes trip, or a bus, called BLQ, taking you directly from the airport to the central train station, for the indicative cost of ticket of Euro 5,00 per person, one way.
By car: coming from any direction, please keep the centre of Bologna as first reference and coming to the centre of town, please keep the train station as your only reference in order to reach hotel. |
