Very friendly staff and top rated service.
The only draw back with this hotel was the location. It is away from the main tourist/shopping areas. There is a shuttle bus to Surin beach, but I think they should also run the shuttle to Patong Beach. the service was excellent and if you just want to relax away from it all, then At Panta is the place. the grounds were very well kept and the Thai style villa's were just beautiful. The staff very friendly and very helpful. Chong was lovely. Had a beautiful relaxing holiday here.
Location is very far from everything, and they only have one restaurant. Quite expensive and the breakfast was not nothing much. They did not have any cheese and cold (if any) bacon. In the welcome-info it said that happy hour was until 1830, but it was only till 18:00. And in the restaurant meny in the room it says that wine cost 130 pr glass, but it really cost 220 bath pr. glass. Nice thaistyle, decor and garden. We stayed in 5 different hotels in both Ao Nang, Ko Lanta, Kata Noi and Kata this trip, and this was the hotel we liked the least. The staff was polite, but not as smiling and service minded as at the other hotels.
Great room but the location stunk - they do offer shuttle busses to the beach but there is nothing near the hotel. Taxis service was also grossly over priced to get to the airport - about triple what you should have had to pay. The grounds were meticulously maintained and the setting was wonderful.
The hotel is a good and quiet place to rest. No amenties surrounding the hotel. Wireless is not available in the room, only if you are at the pool area. Pool is tiny, gym required improvement. Equipment is out of order and only 3 of them there. One F&B outlet but food is very authentic and delicious.
Too far away from Patong Beach where everybody hangs out. No nearby shops/facilities within walking distance. However, had initially booked a deluxe room and had a room upgrade to a Thai villa the next day.
We both enjoyed our stay at the At Panta (my girlfriend and myself), however the biggest down fall and after talking to many other hotel guest about it was how hard their beds are. Generally we found most beds in Phuket hotels where quite hard but this hotel in particular was terrible. Generally everything else was quite nice.
Starting off with its shortcomings: The hotel is located quite far away from Phuket town, Patong beach and basically where everything is happening. If you're not driving then expect to pay 600 baht for a one-way trip to Patong. Hotel had no wireless internet and only had one computer in which to access the internet. Said computer lacked a printer. The breakfast buffet was below average, but that is to be expected for the price you're paying. The hotels redeeming qualities stems from its beautifully designed, traditional Thai-style villas and pavillions. The hotel staff were wonderful. Everyone was polite and tried to be helpful (especially Chong). The maid did an exceptional job at cleaning our rooms (bear in mind my husband tends to make a mess where ever he goes).
The hotel is very good when it comes to cleanliness, facilities and pricing. But the location is not quite good. Its far from most of the beaches. I would rather suggest that you stay on karon or patong beach. Cos most of the happening places are on patong beach and karon beach is just 4-5 kms from patong beach.
I stayed at Pkuket for about a month and experienced 5 different 3-5 stars hotel. At Panta is one of best hotel I like. Not only their staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable, but also the Thai Villa we stay is very well equiped. Also you definitely want to try their resturant , the price and food are both excellent. We will highly recommond friends go there !
A nice little resort. Friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast was average, but the restaurant food was god. One complaint (about some guests making noise in the middle of the night) was dealt with very speedy and professionally. I enjoyed the stay and would like to come back.
Very nice and caring staff , but hotel is not suitable for guest with infants.. Beautiful surroundings location
I had a really nice stay at this hotel. Some people might find it a little out of the way, but you can always rent a scooter or take a shuttle bus to the Laguna beach or Patong. It had a nice pool and it was very peaceful. The Laguna beach was awesome. There were a couple of baby elephants that came out and played in the ocean in the afternoon there. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. One thing though, I think that the hotel facilities are under utilized there because they are quite expensive. I wanted to try their spa services but they were charging more than some famous spas in Phuket, so I didn't bother. I think if they lowered their prices a bit, they would have some guests using the spa and eating at the restaurant more. Other than that, the thai villa and pool was great.
This is a nice and quiet place. It is not by the beach, but you can rent a motor cycle and drive. This is a hotel to relax by the pool with a book. Rooms are spacious and very clean.
Overall a very charming and clean hotel. It's set up as a traditional Thai village along a river. The location is few kilometers from the sea so I would suggest you have a rental car to get around (unless you just want to hang out by the pool). They have few shuttle buses to Patong Beach and Laguna Beach but you may have to get a taxi if a shuttle is canceled for lack of people. I suggest you pay a bit more if you can ang get a villa, they are small independent unit around the pool, and very nice.
The quality of the hotel was very good, although the location is poor as a taxi journey is needed to get anywhere.Make sure you take your accommodation voucher as the hotel were unaware of my booking & would not have let the room go at the price from the website. The hotel is just under new management and will I am sure; sort out the minor service issues like the poor English skill on Reception and the mini bus service, otherwise a very relaxing and friendly hotel
15-20 minutes from the beach, no nightlife around the resort. It's a place for people who are looking for quiteness (staying in the resort, using the Spa, making Daytrips)
Room is excellent, set in an exotic thai style. Too bad is located along a river and not on the beach, the hotel provides free shuttle service 3 times a day to Bangtao beach, and hotel bike rental is set at a very reasonable price. I like to highlight the excellent service extended to me by [staff names], from the Concierge who took the trouble to check the ferry timing on their own accord, alerting me that my guidebook ferry schedule is wrong, and rushing me from pier to pier to catch the right ferry, all these with a warm smile and kind heart. Very good impression of the hotel and service.
Food was not that great. but the staff were so nice and helpful.
Had a lovely time, people were great!
