Surfers Tradewinds is a 3 story walkup building comprising of 29 two bed room apartment and two three bed non smoking airconditioned apartments. All our apartments have a queen bed and 2 singles or in the case of the 3 bed apartments 4 singles. Most apartments have an ensuite, all have full laundries and kitchens. All have a private sunny balcony.

Getting there:By car off the Gold Coast Highway. Local bus from the train Coach or Limosine can be arranged from airports. Surfers Tradewinds is ideally situated between Broadbeach 1.5km away and Surfers Paradise 2km, with beach just a short stroll of 200m. The Gold Coast Airport is 25 minutes south and Brisbane International just 90 minutes north.
Check-in Procedure:A VISA, Mastercard is required for security for your apartment on arrival,if no vailid card is available then a $200 bond is required, refundable during business hours on the day of departure after room inspection. Reception Hours: 8.30am - 5pm Saturdays: 8.30am - 12 noon Sundays: 9am - 12 noon For Bookings made after 12 noon for same day arrival must ring to confirm we have received booking before office closes. Late arrivals are to use the Phone on the wall at Reception entrance
Car parking:Undercover parking is available at no extra cost for 1 vehicle per apartment.
Child Policy:Children O TO 2 Years inclusive free when sharing with adult & using existing bedding.

We enjoyed our stay, the pool area was nice and gardens well maintained. The location was very convenient and the underground parking excellent. The beds were comfortable and generally the rooms were fine, the only issue being the floors felt a bit sticky particularly in the kitchen area and there probably needed to be more crockery and glasses (eg for wine there was only one flute).

Overall the accomodation is good but the mattersses were very very bad. I had my shoulders and neck hearting every morning when i got up. They should replace them!!!!!!!!!
This hotel is very conveniently located to beaches, bus and nearby shopping places. The hotel front desk manager, Mr [R...] is very courteous and helpful. He managed all of our tickets for the theme parks and bus trips. The rooms are not serviced daily.
The apartment is suitable for shelf sufficient family and the location is close to the beach and main attraction in Gold Coast.
It was clean and spacious, the only problem was that I couldn't find a spare toilet paper roll. I guess it would have only needed a request though. It was great.
Pool area great and functional. Parking and access to rooms good. Probably a need to update the rooms with carpet/decor over the next year or 2 but they were very clean and met cooking/living requirements. Manager very friendly and helpful.
Really nice place to stay - close to the beach and was in very clean condition. A few minor details needed to be fixed (i.e. door handle missing and 2 light bulbs were blown) but I told the manager and he apologised and guaranteed that they would be fixed. Definitely a good apartment for the price - would be happy to recommend to others. Would stay there again.
Enjoyed the place very much.The pool and BBQ area was lovely,clean and well set out.
had a nice stay. decent sized rooms, fairly quiet despite being just off gold coast highway. good location and easy to get to public transport.

good,clean,value for money accommodation. no lift, so problem carrying baggage if on 3rd floor. noise problem from traffic and guests at adjacent appartment buildings
