The attraction is the location. We are 2 minutes from Cavill Avenue and between Cavill Avenue and Elkhorn Avenue on the Esplanade - north of McDonalds corner. In the heart of Surfers Paradise as well as across the Esplanade from the famous Surfers Paradise beach - with flags and lifesavers for swimming. At the Sands is also centrally located between the two largest shopping centres on the Gold Coast, Pacific Fair at Broadbeach and Australia Fair at Southport.

Getting there:
All flights into Coolangatta re met by Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle. At the Sands is situated on the Esplanade beachfront in Surfers Paradise. 3 buildings north of Cavill Avenue McDonalds corner and just south of Elkhorn Avenue.
Check-in Procedure:
2 pm (Sat/Sun/Public Hols 11 am). Registered guest to sign credit card imprint on check-in. Late arrivals after 7.30 pm please press the intercom at the front gate and pull the gate towards you following instructions. When or if the front security gate is open, please proceed up pedestrian ramp to foyer. Lift the wall phone near the drink machine in the foyer and wait for instructions. Car parking:
If security car parking for guest vehicle (one space only) is required, this must be advised when booking accommodation to allow a car space to be allocated to the unit and key. Allocated space must be used as the spaces are privately owned.
