Getting there:Getting the exit of Siena west from the Tangenziale of Siena and following every direction for Porta San Marco. Once inside San Marco gate turning on the left and after 300 metres you will find Hotel Athena.

Beautiful setting with a fabulous balcony overlooking the valley where drinks and meals can be got. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay there again
This should have been a 4 star hotel but it needs updating its old fashioned!
Comfortable Double bed or two single beds with all the facilities.
Right at the edge of the city wall, a short walk uphill to the centre of the old town (duomo/Campo). Really helpful staff. Shame about the price of the beers and that the restaurant was only open for 2 1/2 hours per evening. Lovely views over the countryside from the terrace.

The hotel is completely integrated in Siena atmosphere, located inside the city walls, which allows good and fast access to all attractions. Cozy rooms, friendly staff, good rates.

Don''t stay at the room of 4th floor, below the lobby area. It is noisy.
Excellent hotel in a very good location, five minutes walk from Il Campo. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Good healthy breakfast. Highly recommended.
