"Accommodations were basic, and it's a bit out of town; this, I expect in a 1-star hotel given this price. But a few things were disappointing:
- The front desk isn't staffed all day; when I was leaving at 7am, there was no one to take my key
- Maintenance on the rooms is so-so; my room was OK, but my father's TV didn't work
- Towels are provided, but not soap or shampoo" - Nikita Borisov
"The staff were very nice and helpful, however it was further away from the Centre of London than had been advertised on the search engine used. It was small, cheap and clean, ok for a base for one night." - Amanda Hall
"For a cheap hotel it was ok.
No curtains on the windows (which were not external windows, rather were part of a sky-light system which other rooms also looked into), which was a major drawback. Continuous light flowing in.
Breakfast was basic, but definately edible. Location was a bit out of London, but an easy 5 minute walk to the Turnpike Lane tube, lots of buses and plenty of shops nearby.
Staff were helpful, but didn't always follow through with what they said they would do. I had to ask for an iron 3 times, and couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work either.
Room size was big for London, but on the flip side, the bathroom was very small. " - Anonymous
"Just because this hotel isn't in very central london area dosen't mean it will be 2 or 3 star hotel. we loved this hotel, everything was so good. the hotel is 2 min walk to turnpike lane underground station which is on piccadily line (central london) the trip from turnpike station to piccadily circuis is about 8 minutes. im going back next year." - jivara odisho
