"We really enjoyed our stay in the Athenaeum Hotel and for €140 for the night this was really good value. The rooms are very clean and the highlight was the breakfast which was really good. The variety of food was top notch. One small complaint would be the damp smell in the corridors and the carpet looking a bit shoddy but it wouldn't put you off. The hotel staff were really pleasent also. We would reccommend this hotel for anyone wanting a good central hotel in Florence." - Macartan McQuaid
