The friendly & capable staff are there to assist at all times without being intrusive. I highly recommend Athitan Villas & would love to return. "Four guest rooms each uniquely designed in this small hotel several kilometers from Chiang Mai city center. Rooms were quite large. Pool was good for exercise." - Anonymous

"The rooms are beautifull furnished and clean, but the location, although the address indecates inside the "city", is actually very far and isolated from downtown, with no taxi or public transportation available (and hotel do not provide any free transportation). The hotel neigbourhood is very dark in the evening and not seems to be safe coming back by taxi at night. Yet, the bed rooms are facing a suburban road, and is very noisy. Food is mediorcar Considering this, the room rate is unacceptably expensive when much cheaper and clean hotels are availabe in downtown with a international level service. Those looking for a quiet hide-away types of resort should go more quite suberan hotels outside of Chaing Mai and budget travellers should go for much cheaper town accomodation. " - Anonymous
