Atlantide Hotel Venice

Value for money. Good location. The room was clean. Beaware that if you go there before 2pm you can't check in before that. You should wait till they clean your rooms. They claim on their website that guests can check in anytme after 8.00am. This is not true. You can always leave your bags in the reception and go out. Apart from that the hotel was good, nice and clean. Location was really good for us.

Excellent location. Very close to railway station. Located in a quiet little lane. No wheelchair access or lifts.

This hotel is very basic. Bedroom was big, but there is no elevator, no air conditioning and the bathroom we had was tiny and the next door neighbour could easily see through the window when ever you were in there.

Great breakfast! Good location only a short walk from train station, (quiet - no noise of trains at all, and its down a small alley so you don't get much street noise). Also very close to one of the main Vaporetto stops to get public transport boats up and down the grand canal. Small room but we knew that when we booked. Air con worked OK. Staff seemed slightly jaded but warmed up with some dogged insistence on our part.

very shabby but clean. More suited to back packer market. Breakfast was dreadful. Great location, very close to train station. Not good if you have heavy luggage as no lift. Allowing guests to leave belongings in storage after checkout time is an advantage.

Fantastic location, good value accommodation for our short stay in Venice.

Somewhat less good this time than on previous stays. The staff by now is largely non-Italian, and service is spotty. The public areas could use a face lift. Convenient location near the station. Recommended if you get a heavily discounted rate.

Breakfast room is too small for the number of guests in the hotel. No internet, even at the reception area. Hotel does not provide enough shampoo/soap, only gives 1 small sachet per day. Not enough if you want to wash hair & have a shower, especially for women. Hairdryer is one of those 'vacuum cleaner' look, which gets really hot after a few minutes.

The price is very good and the location plus services are what an average traveller needs. No special extras but just good night staying and good breakfast.

An excellent value stay. We were moved to another (quieter) hotel owned by the same people a couple of doors down and had breakfast at yet another hotel owned by them. Staff were lovely and friendly even when breakfast got very busy (we had to wait for a table). Location is excellent - near train station, shops and short walk to quiet canals.

Although the room was non-smoking, there was a definite odor of smoke when we entered the room. The air-conditioned room was an unexpected bonus. Great place with a great location about a 4 minute walk to the train station.

The interiors are a bit dull and the rooms are unusually small. The Breakfast room was quite cramped but breakfast was good......I guess it may not be possible to have more spacious rooms for Venice standards. Still quite a budget Hotel and a decent stay.

As happened the last time I booked a stay at the Atlantide, I didn't stay there. Instead this time I was accommodated at the Zecchini, a sister hotel. This was fine.

Tricky to find, but worth the effort!

Its very close to Pizza le Roma and Lucia stn but located in a small lane - a little difficult to find . Best will be if hotel puts some direction signs on the road. But you get a 24 hr reception and can call anytime.Room,bathroom was good and clean but congested . Breakfast was great. Staff is nice and helping. Google map provides old road directions to hotel .Actually,from Pizzale roma u just need to cross the new bridge and walk straight for 5 mins . Hotel is in left lane just before hotel Nationale sign board.

The location of the hotel is very good as it is a walking distance from the train station. It is quite near to the water taxi jetty too. There are lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel. The breakfast was ok however, the cook was "too loud"!

We had an early train departure and the hotel arranged an early breakfast which we greatly appreciated. The hotel was budget priced, but very clean with a very comfortable bed.

Clean and quiet. No lift. Excellent location, overall good for the price.
