"Apart from that it was a wonderful stay, and the welcome was very turkish. Warm and friendly." - Jean Parke
"Our last night in Turkey is at the Atlantis Hotel. The owner is a fine gentleman, the staff are friendly specially the kurdish guy at the breakfast (Mahmet), he's very entertaining. The spacious triple room was really clean, small TV but who needs a TV in Istanbul?, clean white crisp bed sheets, extra fluffy blankets, neat bathroom, good breakfast.
Can't find any fault. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again soon. " - Domingo Ballo
"Stayed in this hotel for the second time and this time for 3 nights. Very laid back hotel, quiet and since it's winter time (first week of March), not much people around. The double room is fine, 1 big bed and a small one, small TV on wall with no english channel (I hope they would install english cable soon). The room is warm during winter, they have a lot of rugs around the hotel and inside the room on the wooden floor. The staff aren't over-friendly but they are courteous and quiet in most times except for the very friendly young guy (I guess the name is Mehmet or sumthin').
The location is superb, less than a munite walk to and from the Sulatanahmet tramvay station and really near all the sights like Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Blue MOsque, Grand Bazaar and all the pubs and restaurants around the area.
They also arrange tours and entertainments.
For US$32 incl. of breakfast, I would recommended this hotel. " - Domingo Ballo
"...the internet is free of charge, although, there is only one PC unit at the reception area.
Will stay again next time am around Istanbul. " - Domingo Ballo
