Atlantis Hotel Melbourne

The hotel is well placed for the main train station and a nearby large Coles supermarket for food. The building contains a mixture of apartments, short term rentals, and hotel rooms. The pool and gym facilities are reasonable. There can be some noise from trams and traffic in rooms that face the street.

Parking is reasonable and you can catch the circle tram for free around the corner. We are country folk who like to stay here as we can walk into the city but always have our car with us and can come and go as we please.

Not in the centre of the city but city circle tram stop nearby meant you could get into the centre quickly at no cost. Coles supermarket opposite and factory outlet stores alongside the station. Very quiet at night but the Italian restaurant next door was very good. House keeping let them down a bit. No globe in the reading light, door to bathroom wouldn't close and the hairdryer didn't work. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Overall very good. It worked in well with what we were doing.

Initally we were put in a wrong room and we had to speak to them to get that corrected.Overall it's not too bad.

The hotel is very close to the train station. So you can get buses or train transit very easily. However, it is not located very close to good restaurants. It is probably a 10-12 block walk to decent food.

The Atlantis Hotel was a great place to stay. Very close to Southern Cross Station and Eitihad stadium. Just a short stroll to all of Melbourne's attractions. Also the Atlantis Hotel had a great pool and sauna. I will be recommending the Atlantis Hotel to friends too.

loved staying at atlantis, the heated indoor pool, gym, and $11 breakfasts. will come back. not so good , the view was a brick wall of next door building.

We were welcomed and shown our room even when we had arrived at 11.30 am. The room was in imaculate condition and all facilities operational. No noise was present from outside although our window faced Spencer St.. The continental breakfast even included hot eggs and baked beans as well as the standard fare offered at other locations.

Have stayed here previously, so had no hesitation in staying again. Is ideal for when you have something on in the city, as we did with a show at Palms at Crown. Just hop on tram and there in no time and ideal for trip home too as Southern Cross Station is across the road.

This hotel was great! Comfortable with great facilities. Modern look with clean bathroom. There wasn't a view outside my window because all you could see was a purple wall but can't complain since I wasn't in the hotel that much and got a good deal on the hotel room! The hotel was a bit far from the main area of the CBD - I was closer to the office/court houses so if you don't mind the walk then it's a good place! They also provide buffet breakfast for $11!

The Free tram stop was around the corner and they had parking onsite. The breakfast wasn't worth the money when Coles was just down the road. Room was very comfortable and clean but was annoyed there was only a mini fridge and no freezer (ice cream melted).

A conveniently located hotel within walking distance of skybus drop off. Clean, quiet room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Helpful staff. Definitely value for money. Will stay there again.

Absolutely no complaints, location to trams and trains just perfect for our needs and they even looked after our luggage on day of check out so we could do even more shopping. Very comfortable and staff were very friendly.

Clean and tidy hotel, in a great spot. Would Stay again.

we had a great stay at the ATLANTIS HOTEL. thanks to all concerned. we thought the hotel was in good position, very modern, clean and comfortable.we would stay there again and recommend to friends. only negative comments was the fridge too small and didn't keep stuff cold and housekeeping didn't empty a full bin or replace our milks. also no teaspoon to make the coffees (we had one but still little things that count ) overall very happy . thanks again.

overall the experence was good it was near everythink that we had to go the room was good and the b/fast was fine did not use the pool or the car park put that was because I did not need to. Air con did not work but overall a good place to sleep.

The hotel was great, with a large room and good bathroom. The location was very convenient, on the CBD / Docklands boundary but opposite the rail yards. This meant we heard a bit of train noise, particularly early in the morning. We did have a 'Docklands View' room, and this probably gave us a louder room than most. Overall a good hotel for a couple of nights in Melbourne.

It is a very convienent location close to Sth Cross station, the airport bus and trams. The free city circle tram is just up at La Trobe St 50m away. Only about 10mins walk to the city centre and the Vic market. It is reasonably quiet from outside noise and the couple of times I have stayed there I have hardly heard the other guests so I would say it is reasonaly well insulated. Need the aircon though as the rooms are hot. Nice view over Docklands. Coles supermarket and Liquorland just across the road.
