Getting there:Atlas Hotel is in downtown Budapest, near to Blaha Lujza tér metro station ( 3-4 minutes walk, or 1 stop by tram 28. Distance to nearest highway M1-M7: 5km. Distance to Airport: 14km . Guests traveling alone are recommended to use the Railbus or Airport minibus services. By public transport: Take Metro 2 (red) to Blaha Lujza tér. Exit the metro area by the stairs marked József Körút. Walk 200m past the blue Hotel Nemzeti. At the McDonalds, turn left onto Népszínház utca. The hotel is 600m along on the right side. (5 minutes walk, or 1 stop on from the terminus of tram 28 or 37) To reach Atlas Hotel by car: From M7 (Vienna) follow “Centrum” signs along Hegyalja út and across the river Danube via Erzsébet híd (Elizabeth Bridge.) continue straight until after the 2nd major junction (Blaha Lujza tér) Then take the 2nd right onto Kiss József utca, past the park, then (carefully) cross the tram lines and turn left onto Népszínház utca ). The hotel is 200m on the right.

The hotel is very nice. Specially if you want to travel a lot a just use the hotel for sleeping. The prices are very good. The staff is very kind (they didn't have a double bed + child as ordered (but twin + Child) and they upgrade up to a much bigger room). Bottom line - recommended.
Big rooms, 24 hour bar, friendly efficient staff. Air conditioning in room was a boon as the outside temperatures were in the high twenties C. Good access to public transport. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The Atlas Hotel was really good value. We stayed in a superior double room and it was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent - loads of choice - and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Budapest.
The hotel is great, even though it is located a bit far from metro station Blaha (about 500 meters) and the "neighbours" are a bit difficult. Generally the place is really really good and i would recommand it to everyone (I might comeback there myself).

Really good budget hotel. Location not that great, but hey tou get what you pay for. Beds comfortable, room really clean, bathroom nice.
This is a great hotel, it's close enough to the centre of Budapest so that you can walk there and back but it's not so near that you gte disturbed by people coming out of bars etc. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Definitely a hotel we would stay in again.
