Atlas Hotel Munich

Lovely boutique style hotel with great buffet breakfasts. Walking distance from central train station.

Possibly the strangest hotel room I've ever stayed in. It was clearly part of the ceiling vault that had been converted to a room. The elevator ended on the floor below our room and because the room was built above the elevator, the couch was on a platform a metre above the rest of the room's floor level. The room itself (other than being exceptionally hot) was very nicely furnished. It has a large, clean private bathroom. The staff were very friendly, particularly the breakfast and night staff. For those travelling without a laptop, a computer was available in the reception area. We used it a lot to look up local activities on the net. The included buffet breakfast was lovely. I would stay there again if in munich.

Nice hotel, nice atmosphere, very kind staff. Very good, rich breakfast. But, no iron, sauna and steambath are functional only starting with november.

Reasonably priced hotel in the centre of the city with good facilities. Hotel offers good value for money. Haman and sauna make it even more attractive. Good restaurants in the area, but going out late for ladies is questionable.

The hotel has a nice feel. Entry is through a shady green inner courtyard; the interior of the hotel very nice modern with polished stone tile. Room was nice and quiet, and the sauna a big plus! Daytime staff was friendly and helpful; Nighttime staff a little less knowledgeable but accommodating.

The hotel was in a very convenient part of Munich - close to the main station and the historic part of town. There were excellent (and cheap) cafes nearby. We would have appreciated it if the service desk staff had been more informed about local events and things to see. The massage chair was great.

Very centrally located, with good facilities and service but rooms are tiny.

The hotel is rather new and has a modern design. The room are nice and clean. The location is not too good, as it's more than a walking distance from the messe.

This was the best hotel I've stayed at in Europe.
