Atlas Hotel Munich

"Possibly the strangest hotel room I've ever stayed in. It was clearly part of the ceiling vault that had been converted to a room. The elevator ended on the floor below our room and because the room was built above the elevator, the couch was on a platform a metre above the rest of the room's floor level. The room itself (other than being exceptionally hot) was very nicely furnished. It has a large, clean private bathroom. The staff were very friendly, particularly the breakfast and night staff. For those travelling without a laptop, a computer was available in the reception area. We used it a lot to look up local activities on the net. The included buffet breakfast was lovely. "Reasonably priced hotel in the centre of the city with good facilities. Hotel offers good value for money. Haman and sauna make it even more attractive. Good restaurants in the area, but going out late for ladies is questionable." - Anonymous
