Atrium Hotel Manila Guest Reviews

3.2 out of 5

Atrium Hotel is right in front of the bus depot that goes to the various provinces south of Manila. It is also connected to the Light Rail Station. The hotel staff are all accomodating and very pleasant. However, they don't have parking of their own. Basement parking belongs to another company so you have to pay for its use. No hotel validation. I think this should have been indicated in their webpage.

Older hotel that has seen better days, but clean and with friendly helpful staff with good security and free WiFi in rooms, located right next to an LRT station on the edge of Makati and Pasay disctricts. Lobby on 15th floor, with rooms from 16th to 20+ floors, so good views. Good value for money and to be recommended for both leisure and business. I have used it for both, and will use it again.

Older hotel that has seen better days. But the rooms are large and clean, WiFi is included, as is digital TV with plenty of channels in good quality. Enough hot water to run a bath, and friendly and good service by front desk and lobby staff. Hotel is right next to an LRT station. Not in the best part of town, but just 15 minutes to the large Makati Malls or Mall of Asia. Hotel is good value for money, and with lobby on 15th flor and rooms up to 25 floors, it has excellent views. Recommendable

For the price we found the Atrium fullfilled our expectations, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was handy to most things although they could do a little better in the dining area. The breakfast selection was pretty poor. Otherwise great.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom and long black hair still in the bath plughole from the previous occupant. They had extra charges for towels and soap etc. which seemed miserly. The room was great for the four of us - room for an extra mattress. The kids enjoyed going up the lift and looking down on the restaurant area - not for the faint hearted!

Not enough hot water to run a bath! No wireless internet in the rooms, only at the reception floor, and you need to purchase a 1h prepaid card.

Hotel in the highest building of the district, above something like mobile phone market, oposite Gil Puyat LRT station and JAM bus terminal (bus to Batangas). 20 min by taxi from airport.

Whilst the hotel looked impressive at first sight, it is well in need of refurbishment. It was clean and staff very friendly and helpful, with a high level of security. I was very disappointed there were no tea and coffee making facilities, which I would always expect as standard in a 3 star badged hotel. My feeling was overall that the hotel is overpriced, especially considering it's location some way from the main tourist areas. The restaurant was expensive for what was offered, and exchange rates at reception very low

My wife and I was very satisfied with our stay at the Atrium. Nothing to complain about and we would definately stay in this hotel again in the future. For us transportation to where we want to go was excellent and cheap compare to using taxi at another hotel we stay at.

Nice clean rooms, though a bit tired and in need of redecoration, very sizeable suite with two bathrooms was very good value for money, staff were friendly (and understanding when after a short sleep after a long flight I thought it was 7am Saturday when it was actually 7pm on Friday!), not a geat selection for breakfast though and no in-room safe. Location good for Manil (almost on the MLR) and I'd stay here again. Recommended especially for families - the suites could sleep 6 using he sofas in the living room (with TV).

Although the property is starting to feel quite dated with worn decor and a musty smell, the rooms are of a good size and the location offers good transport connections to other parts of the city: The taxi ride from the airport takes only about twenty minutes and the hotel is located right by the junction of Gil Puyat and Taft Avenues, a five minute walk to the Gil Puyat LRT station and with a plentiful supply of jeepneys passing by. The local area is a little rough around the edges so it's worth taking care whilst walking around, particularly at night. Saying that, I had no problems.

Replacing the carpets a good idea and that already started. Maintenance on the washrooms could improve. Replacing the wallpapers in some rooms a necessity. But service staff and bell hops and front desk very efficient.

I really love this place. The room is soooo big! I love watching the city at night from my window. Very affordable... Hope you'll provide newspapers for your guests in the future. Keep up the good work!

This hotel is fine for a short stay, like one or two nights. Longer than that I don't recommend, unless you're okay with honking traffic early in the morning and cockroaches. The food is good but get there early to enjoy the buffet before it sits out for too long and everything gets dried up. The restaurant staff are pretty nice, hotel staff aren't bad either.
