hotel good value for money, leasure facilitys excellent, bar food very good and not to pricey, about 15 mins walk to ennis town center but overall very happy with hotel, would stay again.

All just average nothing special, okay for one night stay, breakfast not bad. Bar food and drinks expensive but partly due to poor rate of exchange.

The hotel is quiet old, although they are renovating it. I would recommend that if booking this hotel, make sure to get a room in the new extension. I also found the hotel very noisy from the guest that were booked in, from being drunk and fighting. not a pleasant stay.

We had an enjoyable stay at the auburn. The day following a family wedding we didn't leave the hotel all day, relaxing, using the hotel facilities including spa, pool, restaurant and pub . Would recommend to friends. Got a good deal with hotel club.

Reception area is welcoming and the staff do an excellent job. However the breakfast area is chaos with more staff needed at what was a busy time. the supply of food was rather haphazard and the whole breakfast area would need to be better organised and better staffed. Arriving to tables stacked with the previous occupants dishes and leftovers is not a standard to be aimed for but rather surpassed.

The hotel is nice. It's clean, staff are friendly, food is great, however, the decor is a little dated. They offer fantastic rates. Overall I would recommend it.

We had dinner in the bar and had to wait far too long for service otherwise the Hotel was comfortable though it is showing signs of wear.

The room was not clean and we did bring it to the attention of the hotel and we didn't get a satisfactory result. I have stayed in this hotel previously and the room was clean but I don't think I'll stay again

The hotel was a bit out of the way from the airport (30-45 drive)but it still was close to the town center. Also if you can't afford the food (which I found to be VERY reasonable) there is a supermarket right next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was very pretty and the rooms were standard. I would go back again.

On my trip, Ennis was experiencing water contamination. I was informed that I could purchase water from the bar. This cost me €2.75 for a small 300ml bottle. I would have thought that the hoted could have provided guests with bottled water free in this circumstance?

I use the Auburn lodge as a regular stepping stone from Shannon Air port and for stays in the area, the food is good, more than ample parking space, staff are friendly & helpfull. I canot comment on the new gym as I have not used it.

We went up to Ennis as a group of 10 and stayed in the Auburn. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The service was fantastic and have to say we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the residents bar that night after experincing the hectic town of ennis all night! The breakfast was basic but nice - again a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the breakfast room, and there was no pressure to move on when finished eating, we were given top-ups in tea and coffee and allowed to sit and chat and 'recover!!' Would definately reccomend this hotel to anyone. It is a short distance outside of the town, but the hotel staff are very helpful and will organise taxi's to suit your needs.

We stayed at the Auburn Lodge in late April and were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant on two evenings and although the menu is not extensive, the food and service was excellent. The restaurant and breakfast room setting is pleasant and spacious. The bar is friendly and has a good food menu and entertainment. The rooms are set in low blocks and ours was of good size looking out onto the gardens. The hotel is in a good position to explore the west coast of Ireland and easy to find, being just outside Ennis on ther road to Galway. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and would definately consider returning there again .
