Excellent location, close to 'the strip' and walking distance from Albufeira town centre and lovely sea views. Good facilities and friendly staff.
The hotel is very nice located with a great view over the sea and close to the long beaches. It has all that you can ask for with a good poolarea, tenniscourt and a nice breakfastbuffet. Closeby to the hotel you have a lot of restaurants and bars. I would absolutely stay here again!
We were very pleased with the facilities at Auramar Beach Resort....a good family or couples hotel.There was a group of seniors staying at the hotel when we were there and there seemed to be a great deal of entertainment available for them with bus pickup at the front door each day.There was also a parrot show one night and a dance show the other night we were there. Our only complaint would be the distance from Faro and the expense to get from the airport to the facility...40-45 euros.
I stayed at the Auramar for three nights in November 2004. It was booked at short notice and at an excellent price for the quality of the hotel. My room was on the 5th (top) floor and offered a good view of the coastline. It was comfortable and clean. I found all the staff I encountered very courteous and helpful. The large dining area has good sea views. There are many restaurants and bars close top the hotel and Albufeira centre is a relatively short walk away. I should be happy to stay at the Auramar again should I return to the area.
A very fine hotel with a lot of ficilities, situated about 2,5 km. from center of Albufeira, and only 300 m. from "the new Albufeira". The breakfast buffet was enormous.
Really top resort, close to restaurants and nightclubs, and amazing beach/headland location. Cliff jumping was also spectacular. We were going to explore more of the Algarve but were too relaxed and content with Albufeira and all it had to offer. Brekky was great, portuguese oranges are amazing and the hot chocolates were special.
