"Hotel Aurora occupies the top floor of an old renovated palazzo, up three flights of stairs (no elevator). It is located at the quiet end of one of the major alleys of Ortygia (lined with shops, restauratns, and bars). The rooms are big, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The people that run the place are quite discreet. You get keys to all the doors the day you check in and then you're pretty much on your own. They don't serve breakfast on the premises, instead, you get vouchers to use in one of two downtown cafes. All in all, a quite enjoyable stay and Ortygia is the place to be if you're going to Syracuse." - Anonymous

The Aurora Hotel is a charming three star hotel situated in a breathtaking scenario on the small island of Ortigia, the historical centre of Syracuse, in the Ionio Sea.
Some of its peculiar qualities like the natural colours that surround the building, the interiors and the friendly atmosphere make this place the ideal accommodation for everyone who loves travelling.
All the main historical sites of Syracuse are easy to reach by walking and there is no problem to find parking in the neighbourhood of the hotel or alternatively you can park in our private garage.
Service is friendly and hassle-free (you get your own keys of the building) and the price can't be beaten.

How to get to the hotel:
By Plane, Catania Fontanarossa Airport and then State Road 114 Catania - Siracusa (by bus, taxi or car 45 minutes).
By Car, State Road 114, exit for South Syracuse (Siracusa Sud)
and then follow the signs Ortigia until reaching the building (10 minutes).
By Train, Syracuse Central Railway Station at 5 minutes.
