Austins Saint Lazare Hotel Paris

"We were a party of 10 and, from the moment we arrived at reception, we ALL rated this hotel as excellent. We could not fault it; the cleanliness, service, helpfulness of staff deserve an A*. It's position in the centre of Paris, close to Opera, added to our enjoyment. Well done and congratulations to everyone at Austins Saint Lazare. "The hotel is small and the room was not a particularly generous size - as Paris hotels generally are not - unless you go 5 star with prices to match. However it served our purpose more than adequately. The room and ensuite shower were clean with some toiletries supplied. The breakfast was simple - not cooked, but adequate Continental. The lift is tiny, but better than none at all. We found the Reception staff friendly and helpful. The location was central to our needs, right next to the Gare St Lazare and with a Metro station close by. Buses went right past the door and were frequent. We were at a room overlooking the street which was not particularly noisy at all. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well as Printemps and LaFayette shopping emporiums." - Anonymous
