Great location, friemdly service and excellemt breakfast but allocated room was not at all refurbished and was rather shabby.

The hotel rooms are large and comfortable. The location is great for a quick walk to the old town and bars and restaurants.

The staff is extremely helpful and the hotel is in a central location.

Great location being opposite the Mirabelle Gardens. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff in reception and dining room. Would stay here on another visit to Salzburg.

Be prepared to be awakened in the mornings by church bells which are right next door. Otherwise, the location was great and the room clean.

The Austrotel Hotel Salzburg is just a short stroll across to the beautiful Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg. It has a nice breakfast room. The hotel is one of the old tradition and the rooms have high ceilings but it is very clean and comfortable. Its location is quiet and a nice retreat from the busy city, yet it is within very short walking distance of the new and old town of Salzburg. It is right next block to St Andrews church on the Mirabell Platz for location.

Our room and bathroom were very small but adequate. The decor and furniture were a little tired and needed upgrading. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to choose from. The hotel advertises it is in the old town but it is not. The receptionists were very helpful an friendly.

Small rooms but clean. Good breakfast. Noisy street. Bar and restaurant facilites not open and haven't been fro quite some time. Friendly reception.

An excellent hotel for the money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very central location, handy for cabs and buses. What more can you say? One feature that really impressed me was the free coffee & juice bar that was open all day.

The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Always cheerful and prompt with our requests. The rooms were aired everday by the housemaid which resulted in fresh welcoming rooms when you returned each evening. Breakfasts were OK but nothing special. Very handy to the local buses.

We found this hotel in a good central position within easy walking distance of all major attractions. The staff on reception were particularly pleasant and helpful, organising all tour bookings and giving us helpful advice when requested.

Good location out of the old town. About 10 minute walk to Mozart's house, shops and restuarants, tour pickup around the corner.

The location of this hotel is ideal for the Mirabell Gardens, shopping, restaurants, and generally siteseeing Salzburg. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Ask for a room away from the main roads, as the hotel is located at a busy crossroads - or take ear plugs. Parking is difficult, though there is a car park 3 minutes walk away. Overall, a satisfactory experience.

The hotel has a good situation on the main street in Salzburg. The staff was friendly and the hotel was nice. The breakfast was very good, it was the best during our trip in Italy and Austria. There was a lot of varieties to eat.

It has a very good location, the people was very kind, and good breakfast, the price was a little bit high, but it's because of the city, I think its not to bad for being in Salzburg.
