The room had all we expected but was small. A good location for the shows and access to the Northen train station to travel back to London. Good breakfast with nice neat and clean facilities. We enjoyed our stay.
Very well located and god value for money
An old building but clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast buffet was particularly appreciated.
This hotel may not be located in the best part of Paris, but we never regreted the choice, as it is just 5 minutes walk from the Gare du Noord Train Station. It is also 5 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station. There are plenty of restaruants in the area and all reasonably priced and offer good food. Internet access was for free and worked very well. All the reception staff spoke good English and they were frienly and helpful. The room is very basic, everything is very old, but they do clean it every day. Breakfast is typical French, bread, butter, jam and croissants. It was not a bad experience and I would probably choose this hotel again.

Ideally situated, 5 minute walk from Gare Du Nord. A basic 2 star hotel (not 3 as advertised). The lift is far too small (fits 2people with cases). The heating made the room too hot and with the window open the traffic noise could at times be loud. We were in the top floor so the room had a sloping ceiling, it was a bit dark and there was no mirror with the dressing table. The breakfast area was clean and the standard continental breakfast was OK.
Our room was a good size. Staff helpful and spoke English.
Hotel is clean and simple. Actually, it is according to the price you pay. The only big advantage is that hotel is located 3 minutes from Gare du Nord and is very close to underground train station.

The staffs were cheery, warm and friendly, helpful and spoke English. We did learn a few french words as well. Based on "for sleep & refreshment only" criteria, the hotel provided a good value accomodation for family travelers. The room is a bit small, but good enough to get good sleep and showers. Near to Metro station, which is good for travelers on foot. Good breakfast and the hotel generously provides its dining place for us to enjoy our own take away meals.
This is not actually a review of Londres et D'Anvers. Although I booked the room at this hotel, when I arrived, I was taken by clerk and shown to another hotel (on foot) approximately 500 metres away. He explained that since they own 8 hotels in the area, sometimes they move booked guests. I was very annoyed at this. Staff were helpful and price was cheap, but the room badly needed renovation. (Peeling paint, etc.)
Overall the hotel facilities are good. However, I have encountered a receptionist who seems to be very rude and difficult.

Nicer than expected. Our room had new bathrooms. Breakfast was good. It is about 400 m from la Gare du Nord, very convenient if you arrive late at night, as we did.

- The room we had was very very small for the price we paid - When paying for the room, the staff made an error and debited to much money from my account. Although I indicated that the price was not correct, they could not repay me the difference there. I now have to wait until the hotel finds it necessary to repay me the difference.
The person whao was working as reseptions were very good.
