Getting there:Driving directions: Take the State Highway 1 North from Auckland (about 3 hours) until Pakaraka, take State Highway 10 here towards Kerikeri and Doubtless Bay. At the Kerikeri roundabout, turn right into Kerikeri, you are already on Kerikeri road; keep following for about 2.6 km. Our entrance is after 60 metres past the 50 km sign. Turn left straight after our big sign 'Avalon Resort". Please follow our signs fo the office for check in.
Check-in Procedure:Upon arrival please come to the main building and reception office at Avalon Resort.
Car parking:Free parking provided with each Cottage.

Friendly hosts who live on site, my apartment was lovely and well decorated. The pool, although on the small side, was great and in a beautiful setting. I am glad I had a car to get to the restaurants because the hotel is down an (atmospheric) long windy road which I would not have fancied walking up in search of food! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful 3 days at Avalon Resort. The cottage had everything we needed and it was extremely clean. The decor was very artistic and comfortable. The surrounding grounds were also lovely and it was very quiet. It was a comfortable walk into Kerikeri township and close to a number of places of interest.
