Self Contained Cottage
Our one bedroom cottages are designed to give you the comfort of your own home while enjoying your stay in Kerikeri. Newly built, the cottages were specially designed and built to accommodate guests that want a superior holiday in a comfortable, quality cottage. Very private and self-catering but serviced daily to make your stay a relaxed experience.
The spacious lay-out (60 m2) and choice for natural materials make a healthy and open living space while the large glassed area's guarantee wide views and lots of sunlight. The special character of the cottages is emphasized by the hardwood flooring, comfortable teak furniture and contemporary décor.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The private bathroom has a separate shower and bath.
From the deck you will have a beautiful view over the ponds and the native bush in the valley, across the river to the golf course. You have your own garden with sun loungers and private parking.

Avalon Resort offers you supremely comfortable and private luxury cottages in a lush garden setting on a 7 acre property that is within walking distance of Kerikeri village.
As a new (2007) purpose-built resort, Avalon has been carefully planned by hosts Willem and Betty who are passionate about providing a friendly and relaxing stay for their guests.
The resort is themed on the classic novel “The Mists of Avalon”, set in the times of King Arthur of Camelot, providing an interesting and distinctive setting with all the luxuries that modern times offer.
Recently rated by Qualmark as 4 star plus self contained and serviced accommodation you are assured of quality, comfort and pampering. Driving directions:
Take the State Highway 1 North from Auckland (about 3 hours) until Pakaraka, take State Highway 10 here towards Kerikeri and Doubtless Bay.
At the Kerikeri roundabout, turn right into Kerikeri, you are already on Kerikeri road; keep following for about 2.6 km. Our entrance is after 60 metres past the 50 km sign. Turn left straight after our big sign 'Avalon Resort". Please follow our signs fo the office for check in. |
