The hotel is situated very close to the center of the city and offers a closed parking area for a small fee, however it would have been nice if the hotel offered a restaurant, it's only possible to have breakfast here and it would have been nice if they served hot buffet.
Nice hall with fireplace, friendly service, bikes for rent.
Standard double room with bath, wlan access
20-25 minutes walk to Central Station / old town direct bus route but pricey: equivalent of £2 each way for an adult. A round trip to and back the centre of town for our family(2 adults and 2 teenagers) was £14.00 a day.
Excellent hotel though out of the city a little way. However a Metro station is only a short walk away. The walk into the city does not too long though the older people might find it a bit far. The front rooms that face onto the street can be a bit noisy. Staff excellent and most helpful.
We had a very pleasant stay; nice hotel with friendly people. Beautiful lounge and breakfast room. We had asked for a room on the back, so it was nice and quiet. Distance to centre town is very acceptable, there is a bus and metro nearby and by foot it is approx. a 20 minute walk. On sunday a bit too busy/crowdy at the breakfast buffet. A slight minus for the carpet in the room (had many stains of wine and ??) and the bit dated bathroom. The shower was good and stayed on the same temperature the whole time (an exception in a hotel!). I would stay here again the next time when I am in Copenhagen and I would recommend it to others.
The bathroom had a hairdryer not mentioned in their listing. The breakfasts are superb, as is staff attention. Most considerate management. This is a wonderful, friendly hotel, situated 5 minutes by bus to central Copenhagen or 10-15 minutes' walk. Easy access to lakeside paths and many local restaurants. Highly recommended and enjoyed. We would definitely stay there again.
Be warned that rooms at the front are very noisy, as the hotel is situated on an extremely busy main road.
Old hotel, but new renovated, nice and quiet, 15-20 min. Walk to centrum, and tivoli
A very nice hotel very close the central Copenhagen.(Probably 5 minutes walk) Room terrific, breakfast very nice.Staff excellent.
It was a bit of a hassle getting to the location via public transport, which was made worse for us due to heavy rain at the time of arrival - otherwise no worries. The breakfast was very good.
Great hotel, prices are great for Copenhagen. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful. Location is right on bus line, easy access to downtown, close to canals for walking.
would gladly stay here again - impressive for price
Friendly, helpful (mostly) staff. Excellent location within walking distance of city centre, yet away from the hustle. Good quality room for this price in Copenhagen. Highly recommended
Reasonably close to centre - good transport links anyway - catch the metro if coming by train from central station. Breakfasts are good with variety.
A modern, stylish hotel. Breakfast choice rather limited My room facing the road was noisy.
Lovely modern hotel but in trying to be contemporary they forgot to add curtains!!! A white roman blind lacks almost any effect in keeping the sun out of the room at 5am. Lets hope they read this!
Clean, airy room elegantly furnished, comfy bed, good breakfast.
The lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. The service there and coffee extremely good and the chocolate cake out of this world. The rooms are roomy, very comfortable and all design beutiful. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is plentiful and very good and the breakfast area comfortable, quiet and relaxing. To sum up, we had an extremle enjoyable stay and are happy to recommend this hotel to our friends. We also got a farewell present that we appreciate very much (a chocolate and marcipan pig, very Danish).
hotel was very clean and staff were extremly friendly. room size were more than adequate . location on main route to city meant noise level quite high early morning. overall the hotel was very good value for moneyand very east to recommend
We were really happy with [the hotel] for our three-night stay in August 2006 - nice clean rooms with modern furnishings, plus a good Continental buffet breakfast. The location is slightly out of the centre of town, but I think that was reflected in the cheaper price given the standard of the room.
