Our studio units and 1-bedroom apartments include brand new kitchens, tiled bathrooms, modern bedding and furniture. 26 flat-screen TVs with satellite Freeview are standard in all these rooms. We can help you with independent advice to plan and book your leisure activities to make the most of your time that you have available. Whether it be a fast boat or half day or full day cruise to 'The Hole in the Rock', or a leisurely day sail with island picnic, kayaks etc. All tour buses to Ninety Mile Beach and Cape Reinga pickup at the motel gate. Adequate for what we required, a place to stay overnight on the 31st Dec. Was comfortable enough, however felt a bit claustrophobic outside the unit. Easy access to the beach and local resturants. Owner very friendly. Seemed to be well managed and clean.

other than shower slow to drain due to possible hair build-up in the plug hole this was a great place to stay; close to town and jetty, helpful staff on arrival and comfortable beds.

The kitchen utensils could be more extensive e.g. baking dishes for cooking meals (not roasts) in oven given it is a complete kitchen. The units were spacious, warm and comfortable albeit tired. There was very little space in the toilet room when opening and closing the door. The motel is located on the main road in to Pahia coming from the south but is quiet and easily accessible. I would stay at Averill Court again.
The motel is looking "tired" and in need of refurbishment. However, reasonably comfortable and suitable for large families.
Very friendly staff
We were very pleased with the accomodations at this motel. First the office personnel were very pleasant and helpful. Second, parking spots were right if front of the rooms and marked with your room number so baggage only had to be carried 6 feet to your room. The rooms were large with two beds, a kitchen table with 3 chairs , a love seat, (two person sofa) and TV, plus a small kitchen in a separate room with stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink and all eating and cooking utilities. Plus bath with shower. Also had the nicest bath towels I have ever used.
This motel is very well situated and we had a very comfortable 4 days there. It is not a particularly modern motel but had everything we required and was reasonably priced considering it was peak season.

This motel was excellent. We had a very spacious room, with kitchen and bathroom. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
I found the Averill Court Motel in Paihia to be of excellent quality! I was impressed with the cleanliness and facilities available in the rooms, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was reasonably good (certainly not on the outskirts), though it was a bit of a walk to the center of town compared to the other local hotels (20mins ish), but the value for money was wort it. Definitely worth a stay (I'd like to spend more time next time!).
